lgfualol Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 That's more than I thought it would be. Get another winger in?
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Bizarre that a 'rival club' would spend a million quid on a player who can't even make our first team. What I hope now is that we get a replacement, better player.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Another one of Person's flops bites the dust, Pearson out.

Fox92 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 I'm not going to argue with £1million taking into considering our finance problems, but I personally think he is worth more than £1million. I wouldn't be suprised if he turns out to be a nice little player for Blackburn who commands a bigger fee in the future. Very strange what's happened to him. Good player at this level for any team. Thanks Marshall.
Walker Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Another winger bites the dust under Pearson. Go on then, who do we replace to accommodate the wizardry of Ben Marshall?
Jace Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Where does he live again? I think this could be a key factor in his problems here and why we are selling
ballso Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 we've done well to get that much for him. has potential, yes, but so often he flattered to deceive. good move for us and the player, i think.
RowlattsFox Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Didn't think we would get a million so decent enough, be interesting to see how this turns out.
dannythefox Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Come back to kick us in the teeth that just like Gradel did!
Lionator Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Let's not pretend that this is a massive loss. £1,000,000 is very good business.
kingfox Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 £1 million is good business tbh. Might as well burn last season's away shirt then, with Marshall on the back. He had potential, but frankly he didn't show it, and last season as I alluded to many times, his performances were one of the most disappointing things about last season. Who knows what we can do now, hopefully Konchesky or Drinkwater rumours come to some fruition, & we can use some of this money to buy or loan some players.
Tedders Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 not too bothered by this, was a good player but his attitude never seemed right. after barnsley away proved that, given a chance to put that fiasco right and never really tried that bit extra to make it up etc. look at vardy took the criticism put his head down to change peoples perspective thats the type we want in the club.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Where does he live again? I think this could be a key factor in his problems here and why we are selling Worsley in Manchester. That's half the reason.. Him an Drinkwater didn't fancy moving down. And he also despises Pearson, and i mean despises..
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Ben isn't going anywhere, I'll personally see to that. I'm going to get into his car and you know that little light above the rear view mirror? I'm going to switch that on. Come the morning I think a certain Ben Marshall will wake up tomorrow to find he's got a pretty flat battery. Seriously though if he leaves I'm quitting foxestalk, and no-one wants that.
Bettsj2 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 £1m? Amazing bit of business. Was expecting half that.
ousefox Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 £1m for a player who can't get into our squad is incredible!
johnny the fox Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 Worsley in Manchester. That's half the reason.. Him an Drinkwater didn't fancy moving down. And he also despises Pearson, and i mean despises.. So what if he does dispise the manager? is that an excuse to play shit for a whole season?
Bettsj2 Posted 27 August 2013 Posted 27 August 2013 So what if he does dispise the manager? is that an excuse to play shit for a whole season? Did you read Robbie Savages article about players trying to force moves? One thing he said happens was players played badly on purpose. That would explain how Marshall became THAT shit so quickly.
