lgfualol Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Anyone at home. Someone from the premiership (other than Hull or Stoke or the other boring lot). What we'll get: Burnley away
Bert Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Sunderland home or away Spurs away Big team at home. Hull, Stoke and Southampton I would like us to avoid.
Strokes Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 We will get burnley away knowing our luck, it would be nice to pitch ourselves against a top prem side.

Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Would quite enjoy a trip to the Emirates, I might actually partake in a midweek away day if we get that. Burnley at home wouldn't be the worst draw lets remember we are only one game away form the quarters now.

leicesterseddon Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Normally I always want to get a beatable team at home, to give us the best chance of progression. I've always thought that wanting to get a 'big fixture' as soon as possible was just a bit crass and small-time. However, for the first time in years, I would be pretty happy to get a draw against one of the bigger sides in the 4th round, as long as we are at home. The thing is, despite the fact that the team is doing pretty well at the minute, despite the fact that *whisper it quietly* we can actually play some decent stuff when we want to, there has been a slow, remorseless wave of apathy that has descended over the KP stadium this year. I'm not sure if it's the slight drop in crowds so far, or the fact that fewer and fewer people are sitting in the Kop, or the gradual disillusionment of many due to increasing commercialisation... I'm not sure what it is, but I know it's been some time since I went to a home game and really looked forward to it. So I wouldn't mind a big club at home this year, if only to see the ground full again, a decent away following, and our lot actually up for it from the word go. Chelsea or Spurs would be ideal
Fox92 Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 For the trip, Manchester United or Manchester City away would be good for me... Preferably United though, as I haven't been to Old Trafford for many years now. In terms of progression, Burnley wouldn't be to bad if we could draw them at home. We've done well so far and are only a win away from the quarters. I hope we're taking this seriously, would love to do what Bradford did.
Foxy Bingo Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Burnley please. Just because I'm at uni and probably won't be able to make it. I'm selfish like that

leicesterseddon Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Got a big feeling we'll get Southampton at home . Hate those kind of draws. A similar-sized club who happen to have a better team than us at this moment in time. The tie has the reduced chance of progression that accompanies playing a side in the league above, but with none of the glamour...
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Liverpool away just to show their fans proper support would be immense. I would love them or arsenal away or man utd at home. If they didn't play RVP I'd fancy us. The only downside to having a big team at home is losing our seats

RowlattsFox Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Hull, Southampton, and Norwich would be to avoid. Stoke away could be decent, but a north west game will do for locality reasons. Even if it is burnley.
Mack Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 I think we are due a decent draw after a string of shit ones in all cups. I'd take a premier league club home or away bar the shitty ones like dull, Southampton etc. But we'll probably end up with someone like Burnley away. Dan LCFC Posted 25 September 2013 Share Posted 25 September 2013 Tranmere away. I've been before but I want an away tie as I don't fancy going two months without an away game (missing Watford & Ipswich), and we'd probably win there. There's every chance we'll be the lowest ranked side left in by the end of the night. I'd love to draw Newcastle - attractive tie and it's actually winnable IMO.
