rico Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Apparently we're after him http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/8997447/transfer-news-sunderland-to-allow-david-vaughan-to-leave-on-loan
TJB-fox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Centre mid isn't he? Lazy journalism, dont believe this at all
Ric Flair Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Left winger ain't he? Might be a bit of truth in it.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Sounds like a headless chicken from the posters so far
cjslcfc Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Don't really need him. He's a defensive/holding midfielder I think. We need a winger to cover and out pressure on Lloyd and Knocky
ousefox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Seen him at Sunderland plenty of times. More than good enough for our team but don't think we really need him with all the competition we have already.
Leicesterpool Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Yeah we're short of midfielders aren't we
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Lazy journalism, not unusual from sky though. Linked with championship clubs, reel off a list of likely candidates yawn
HEGGSY Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Is he the one who scored that worldie against Newcastle when Di Canio took over?
Monsell1976 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 I got to the thinking now that until they are signed, there is no point listening to rumours. As somebody has stated lazy journalism, any decent player put up for loan or sale we are linked with, all because we had money and top end of the championship, look at the other clubs linked, all top half of the championship. Pearson keeps his targets close to his chest, so it's probably bullshit or an agent trying to get interest in their client, or like I say a journalist guessing.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Is he the one who scored that worldie against Newcastle when Di Canio took over? Yeah, he bagged a few more pearlers in his time in the PL too. One against Blackburn for Sunderland that about took the net out the ground.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Sort of player we need - knows how to win ugly.... .... I'll get me coat.
kingfox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Thought he was a central midfielder. So we don't need him.
Bryn Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Could slot in quite nicely on our left hand side for the games where Dyer's pace is being nullified, an altogether more technical and creative player. Also a good option in the middle. I'd sooner have an out and out winger as cover though.
Finnegan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 He's not a winger he's a bit of a box to box midfielder. Offers no more than Drinkwater except a bit of experience maybe. He is pretty energetic.
dmayne7 Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Would be the second best Welsh Midfielder in the squad... Very good player but we don't need him
Finnegan Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 He is quality. He's a bit average, to be honest. Not really better than what we have and any money we have to spend on players should be going on genuine wingers.
Leicfox Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 An experienced energetic ball playing midfielder who at Championship level is very very decent, but like others have said an out and out winger would be preferable. I'd still take him though.
RedHux Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Apparently we're after him as well.Which probably speaks volumes about the success Chalobah has been.
