I think the reality of the situation is that we will lose games in this league, any team can beat anyone else on their day, it's such a familiar aspect of this league. I don't think that means we should rush out and change things, buying new players doesn't necessarily mean an improved situation, I do think the players we've got have shown we have the ability to grind out results. If we can keep a good level of consistency through out this season I think we will be alright.

Yes I think it is always wise to freshen up in a promotion challenge, teams that go up frequently do. Think Jason Roberts going to Reading when they stormed to the league title in the second half of the season.

 

We've got some marvellous players who've worked their balls off and this doesn't detract from them, but if there are funds available then there is certainly room for a few wise acquisitions. I would like a right-back, an out and out winger and a striker.

Obviously we need to freshen things up in January, but that has nothing to do with today.

 

Nobody gets promoted without signing somebody in January to help them kick on. Except maybe Palace last year, but they fell apart in the second half of last season.

Vardy has 4 on his own. Nugent has 2 open play goals. So to sum it up - more than Cox and Mackie. Trolling failed.

A striker that can win at least half of his headers, today multiple dangerous crosses were put in good areas and we failed to capitalise.

Said it before but we need one, if not two more wingers. The lack of width in the second half was frightening. Trying to pass through their 8-man defence through the middle in the second half was tedious to watch. This league is all about options, and as much as I like Knocky and Dyer, we need options and an alternative when they're not on form/having an off day.

A winger on loan, tthat's priority. A striker on loan would be nice too. Don't want to see another situation like yesterday. Schlupp just doesn't cut it up front
