Babylon Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 You mean like teams who can't beat Doncaster or Huddersfield? Didn't you know every other team in the league wins every game?
Mark_w Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Changed my avatar to Dyer. It's a good luck charm. Having a Mill' shirt in my signature worked on Saturday. Might make a picture of Mattock my avatar for a bit.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 From the sound of things Dyer, Nugent, Morgan, Vardy all had chances we could be 5-2 up! 4 - 2 to us Deluded.
lcfc will Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 It's not the international break next week, therefore we won't lose
Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 The first goal was a freak. Absolutely sensational strike by Wickham. Sometimes you've got to say it's just good play by the striker. Woeful cross, great touch, great finish. I'm not sure he should have been allowed to get either shot in though.
Donut Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 You have to ask some serious questions about the back 5. Dropping Moore and playing the most stereotypical centre back in the world at right back is very strange. Both goals came from Wasilewski's side. Moore must wonder what on earth he's done to upset Nigel. He was our best player for the first 3 months of the season. Next thing he knows a new signing and a loanee who's barely played come in ahead of him. It's just weird. I just don't see why all this chopping and changing was necessary. The bottom line is we really shouldn't be losing to these. Especially after taking the lead in 2 minutes, they've own 1 in 16 FFS, that should have been that. Typical Leicester. No excuses if we lose this. I just hope it's nothing to do with bottling it like we did last season as soon as we went top. Christ, we could still win the game. Keep a cool head
kingfox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 He was perfectly fine Saturday with little to do. He looked slow, and was beaten easily quite a few times. Because I was sat right behind the right side eyeline, in the second half, and he wasn't good enough.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Fantastic news. I'll definitely be going for a shit during the second half
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Didn't you know every other team in the league wins every game? I know, weird innit, a league of 24 teams of which 23 win each game.
Fox92 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 this is not good (he says insightfully).....but we have to take the various warnings about over confidence seriously....if we cant beat Sheff Wed we absolutely cnanot assume we will go up this year Hull lost to Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday (at home), Doncaster and Peterborough (at home), among others, last season. They didn't do bad though.
kingfox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 This tells me you are definitely full of shit and no nothing about football. For having an opinion, because I thought he wasn't great and is more suited to centre back.
Tielemans63 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 QPR lost 2-1 to Doncaster at the weekend - I assume they're completely out of the automatic promotion picture now as well after that loss.
MooseBreath Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 He has a point tbh, we're forever bottling promotion. Exactly. Every time we've hit a strong autos position in the last few years we've gone on a bad run. We just don't seem to have the right kind of mentality to hold on to a strong position. I said that before the match too and that was the reason I gave for thinking we'll lose tonight. Just my opinion of course. No need for anyone to get mad about it.
steveherbe Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Is Miquel playing? Haven't heard him mentioned once. Then again, it is Radio Sheffield on R5LiveXtra. Every time we get the ball they start waffling on about pies, hats, whippets, pigeons........
Bettsj2 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 All the normal cliches apply about the Championship being a crazy league. Remember Peterborough did the double over Cardif last year so these things can happen. The negative reaction is understandable as these are shit and of course we know what happened last year. We've shown we can come from behind this year so lets not get too suicidle just yet. Even if we lose its going to happen and will happen again so its just how we cope with it. I'd bring Wood on for Nugent personally. Nuge sounded like he's getting frustrated so maybe a half off will do him good.
Donut Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 All you people with the negative stuff, all i can say is WOW I dont recall a team throughout history who have never had a bad or unexpected 45. Can we just all keep a level head and see how the rest of the game progresses?
Kitchandro Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Christ, we could still win the game. Keep a cool head I'm not sure how us winning would make my points less relevant. We're playing the 2nd worst side in the league and we've let a lead slip to go 2-1 behind. It's not great. Frustrating to say the least. A win here would be very useful but the fashion and ease in which we've gone behind is very disappointing.
steveherbe Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Hammond on? For Knocky, OMG R5 commentator, 'In that case Mattock has done a good job'. What kind of fookin attitude is that from a so called football 'Professional'. Northern twat.
Brooksy Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 All you people with the negative stuff, all i can say is WOW I dont recall a team throughout history who have never had a bad or unexpected 45. Can we just all keep a level head and see how the rest of the game progresses? On Foxestalk? Impossible.
GingerrrFox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Hammond needed to come on but Knocky will not take it well.
