Whats all the love for 'hard working' Vardy? I'll work hard, play me! He's a striker, and failed to strike. I admire the effort he puts in, but really......... If we want promotion, we need clinical goal scorers, and we havent got one at the club currently (puts on tin helmet and waits for bombardment)

 

Oh, and Dyer was bloody excellent. Moore too IMHO. Comes to something when Lloydy is our best player.

Some of you haven't got a ****ing clue. Knockaert 8 and GTF 3/5. GTF gave us an added dimension when he came on. Brought players into the game and held the ball up well and could have scored if there wasn't a block. Knockaert did sweet FA in the 2nd half and looked like a sulking kid because he didn't get the ball enough.

Kasper 7 - What a save that was. Had little else to do really.

RDL 6 - Good to see him back and did ok, but almost cost us.

Konch 6 - Steady defending but sloppy with the ball.

Morgan 7 - Dominated a decent strike pairing.

Moore 6 - Will give him the benefit of the doubt over a less convincing performance due to a few games out.

Knocky 5 - Tries things that either make you look great or stupid. Sadly nothing came off for him today.

Dyer 6 - Should've scored but shot at Nugent, always caused them problems.

Drinky 7 - Tried to dictate but was well pressed, still did well.

James 6 - No great influence on the game but he picked up the scraps and got himself about a bit.

Vardy 6 - Yes he worked hard. But he should've scored, twice. Certain other players would've been lambasted but people will be blinded by his good work rate. First touch lets him down a fair bit but he won us the penalty.

Nuge 6 - Had a good first half and linked up well with Dyer and Vardy, but second half he was poor.

GTF 6 - Gives us a different dimension. Technically brilliant.

Wasyl 6 - Did what he had to do with minimal fuss.

Schlupp - Not on long enough to warrant a rating.

Too many missed chances have cost us, we should've been out of site at half time.

Thought they were mostly ok. Nuge looked much better. Drinkwater was fairly poor though. Very pedestrian and negative in possession, largely at fault for the goal and just generally taken out of the game. James looked much more impressive than Drinky. If King had played like Drinkwater today he would have got a 3 from most people.

De Laet 6.5 Better first half, but its good to have him back. Will get better with games

Moore 5. First half terrible- didn't win anything in the air, wrong side of his man a few times. Second half improved slightly.

Morgan 6.5 Did ok against a very good front two

Konchesky 7.5 Thought he was very good. Kept making himself available for Kasper, defended well also

Knockaert 6 Good first half, second nothing came off for him. He had 3-4 players around him most of the time. Encouraging thing about him is, he still keeps going and trying things even when it's not going for him

Drinkwater 6. Couldn't impose himself on the game as usual. I think they'd done their homework on him and marked him out the game. Never seemed to have any time/space

James 6 Better first half. Did ok

Dyer 8. Our best player for me

Nugent 6. Much better first half than recent games. Poor second half, looked sluggish (again)

Vardy 8. Everywhere even though he's carrying an injury. Did excellently for the penalty. HAS to do better with that header though.

Burnley were decent- very strong in the air, stopped our midfield playing. However, I did feel we were the better side which is encouraging. There won't be many other sides as good as them.

Disappointing not to get 3 points.

Agree- he played some fantastic cross field balls. Didn't have a bad game when in possession, just wasn't in possession
