Molson Canadian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Mohammed Sissoko - he is still a free agent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_Sissoko
Molson Canadian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Vincenzo Iaquinta - He is a free agent, 34 years old now but maybe we could entice him to come over and play I'm sure he could still find the back of the net at this level, see how he does, but might want high wages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincenzo_Iaquinta
Molson Canadian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Simon Davies - Free agent, I know he has had issues with injuries but maybe if he can get a fit offer him a short term deal, could be that extra bit of experience we could use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Davies_(footballer_born_1979)
Soar Fox Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Messaging the club about signing a player So you can't remember the petition someone started to sign Miguel Vitor??
J.Lisemore Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Let me take you back one year. A man was scoring goals for fun on loan at a struggling promotion side. We signed him and he's currently injured. We have a target man who can score goals. We need a nippy little poacher. Dickov
joeasis Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 to put it bluntly, no.out of interest where is miguel vitor now?

We have a target man who can score goals. We need a nippy little poacher. Problem is Chris Wood isn't really a target man, he's useless in the air, I don't think I've seen him win a single header since he joined! And we already have a nippy poacher, Vardy
The Horse's Mouth Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 to put it bluntly, no. out of interest where is miguel vitor now? PAOK
Simonb Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 A poacher, in the Defoe mould (although budget version) is exactly what we need... the amount of chances we create, a poacher could easily convert 15 chances to goals in half a season ... although, we do tend to turn on form strikers into turd.... fingers crossed though It would be interesting to see if we have someone like this in the academy though... not sure what type of striker this panatouyo (incorrect spelling) is, but might be worth bringing him through the ranks If we sell Waggy and Whitbread on to Millwall and Derby, if they do genuinely want to buy them at £500k each then thats £1m plus around £30k in wages a week saved, so no reason why we can't loan someone decent for the remainder of the season
Dan Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 This 'poacher' will be a waste of time unless they can contribute an all-round game. It's the reason Chris Wood's never getting games.

Molson Canadian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bentley He's a free agent, get him in if he can agree to wages that would work for us
Molson Canadian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahamadou_Diarra still a free agent
AKCJ Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 This 'poacher' will be a waste of time unless they can contribute an all-round game. Why does a striker need to tackle or track back? We want him to score, not be on the halfway line all game like Nugent. Problem is Chris Wood isn't really a target man, he's useless in the air, I don't think I've seen him win a single header since he joined! And we already have a nippy poacher, Vardy Vardy isn't a poacher. His workrate makes him first name on the sheet IMO but I think we should look at Nahki Wells. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bentley He's a free agent, get him in if he can agree to wages that would work for us You must be joking?
MC Prussian Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 A right-back, a central midfield maestro and a natural finisher up front. It's only going to cost a few million quids.
stb1996 Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 A right-back, a central midfield maestro and a natural finisher up front. It's only going to cost a few million quids. Sadly that's a few million quid that we haven't got
Langston Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 @ the Mammadou Diarra suggestion. ****ing hell.
Langston Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Vardy isn't a poacher. His workrate makes him first name on the sheet IMO but I think we should look at Nahki Wells. Would Nakhi Wells cut the mustard should we go up though? Huge gamble on somebody unproven above half a season at League One level.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Sam Bailey seems to know where the net is. Wouldn't cost much? She's one of our own etc.
Finn Claw II Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Leeds are interested in Max Gradel - bring him back home I say.... Obviously we don't have the money but I'd take him back
MrSpaM Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Leeds are interested in Max Gradel - bring him back home I say.... Obviously we don't have the money but I'd take him back Don't think he gets on very well with Pearson
