dog_4 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Yeah King is poor! Technically very basic, never turns up home or away and needs a move away from Leicester. Gone very stale!
sylofox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Is Jelavic on loan unrealistic? is he getting games if not praps no. But it would come down to money and would they let him go for more than a month? Personally would love him till the end of the season.
KFS Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Just read that he wants regular game time to play at the World Cup. Perhaps he'd get overlooked if he came here.
Babylon Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Big story in the Mercury tomorrow about our finances, could have a big impact on people's January expectations.
RizLCFC Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Heard Pearson on Radio Leicester earlier. Stringer asked him how the recruitment drive for January was going to which he replied, "Things are in place, whether we do anything or not we shall see." Read into that what you will
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Yeah King is poor! Technically very basic, never turns up home or away and needs a move away from Leicester. Gone very stale! This gets repeated again and again and every time it does King shows everyone how good he is. No reason to believe it'll be any different this time.
foxfanazer Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Adam le Fondre would be a very good signing and a statement of intent. In other news QPR are trying to sign Peter Crouch....for 5m! What!?I've not studied the ins and outs of FFP but is this going to give a massive advantage to the teams that get relegated from the prem?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Relegated teams from Premier have advantage of parachute payments. To me it's only Reading who haven't really bought since coming down although I suppose the wages of Drenthe and Bridge weren't cheap
dog_4 Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 When has King proved anyone wrong about how average he is? I can never remember a 7/10 performance let alone a 8 or a 9! sell in the summer and introduce Micheal Cain!
LcFc_Smiv Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 When has King proved anyone wrong about how average he is? I can never remember a 7/10 performance let alone a 8 or a 9! sell in the summer and introduce Micheal Cain! Zzzz Zzzz Zzz...
Alex_LCFC Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Connor Wickham linked to Forest, his loan expires on 1 January I'd love it if we tried to sign him. They've also been linked with Shane Long but his wages we probably can't afford. shane long would be great but i think hull are still after him. Wickham would be top notch
Russell sprout Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Got to admit since seeing Conner wickham against us at sheff wed I really think he would be a great loan signing,I've not seen a player give Wes the run around befour until that game,he a big lad, holds the ball up well and can finish, surprised he's playing for a team like Wednesday and not a top 6 side.
Simonb Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Wickham or le fondre would be good but I think our issue is the silly goals we let in... weve got the second or third best attack in the league...albeit a few pens but you've gotta be attacking well to win them If we sure up some of the ridiculous errors and defend like we did today gaining clean sheets we'll be fine but at the right price... more competition up top surely can't hurt
kingfox Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 1 Striker & 1 Winger Patrick Bamford - Banging in the goals for MK Dons, his loan comes to an end in January, already linked with Championship clubs, get him in on loan, Nugent, Vardy, Wood & Bamford as options, lad has a bright future. Adam Le Fondre - Pretty good shout, great finisher at Championship level. Jermaine Pennant - Wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, and would probably put in some shit performances, but he is capable of having good games, and getting a number of assists, his crossing and set pieces would be a good asset. Max Gradel -
KentyLCFC Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Any chance of matt ritchie. Good RW/LW. think he's got a 3yr contract but he's been there (bournemouth) for nearly a year now. still could be worth a bid maybe?
Stadt Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Pilkington & Becchio on loan from Naaarch please.
cjones Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 im not leicester city fan but like to look at other fans forums, theres quite a few premiership players not getting regular football and wanting games to keep there place in world cup squads, i support everton and martinez has already said jelavic and heitenga can leave on loan or permanent to the right offer, would be worth a cheeky punt and try and get them on loan untill the end of the season, jelavic would bang in goals in that division and heitenga would be a useful utility player, whether they think dropping down a division would hinder there chances i dont know, but its better to be playing than sat on the bench or in the stands for the remainder of the season. if not jelavic im sure theres a few good players that could be got on loan and aid your push to the prem.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 We were linked with Jelavic before you guys signed him, albeit under Sven, so this wouldn't be the most surprising move ever made on loan. I daresay it'll be loanees and cheap buys in January to comply with FFP and we shouldn't find it difficult to recruit either, especially not given how the league is going for us. The problems as I see it are that Palace and West Ham are reportedly interested in the same kind of deal that would be viable for us on Jelavic, loan with a view to permanent in the summer, and Heitinga is apparently on a serious wedge.
conLAD logan Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 jordan rhodes, somehow, someway we need to get him! most consistent striker in the football league for 3 years and i think he could make the step up to. although blackburn would be wanting more than what they paid for him which is in the excess of 8million
Babylon Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Heard Pearson on Radio Leicester earlier. RizLCFC Posted 22 December 2013 Posted 22 December 2013 Probably have to wait and see if we can get rid of Danns, Gallagher, Waghorn, maybe even SSL if he's ever fit again. Hopefully Waghorn and Danns will be out permanently with both their loan managers saying they'd like to sign them, anyone else will be a bonus. I'd love to see SSL and Gally leave too, bring in a striker and a winger and we're sorted ðŸ‘
