Also Liam Feeney at Millwall, he ran rings around Konch and looked decent, can put in a cross, can't see him costing too much.... Maybe a swap for Waghorn? Would be on less wages too

Dan Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Why does a striker need to tackle or track back? We want him to score, not be on the halfway line all game like Nugent. Vardy isn't a poacher. His workrate makes him first name on the sheet IMO but I think we should look at Nahki Wells. You must be joking? I can see your point, but I strongly believe a lot of our game this season has been defending from the front and the positioning of our attacking players. Nugent's bang out of form lately but I still fail to believe he contributes nothing. There's a reason Chris Wood, who was a regular goalscorer for about 4 different sides in this league, can't seem to reproduce it here. There was a report on sky saying that manue would let Zaha go out on loan, coukd be interesting Would be ideal. Something to prove and a talented player, even if I do think he's quite over-rated.

In January we'll probably sign some young player from the lower leagues and that'd probably be it. We'd have to shift one of Danns, Gally or cuddly Ken (St. Ledger) to be able to actually buy anyone for more than a nominal fee.
