Solid post, always good to get your excuses in early.

They were good though. I dont go and see them on a weekly basis but would anyone agree that it was the best performance so far? The pasing and understanding was great.

Hey bit random but does anyone know the music they were playing when fl live on sky sports started. It sounded like kasabian but im not sure which song

I was at the game so im not sure which bit you are on about but if you mean the background music when they are introducing anything that is Beady Eye - Flick Of The Finger

We are a premiership standard at the moment. I'll hold my hands up. I had my doubts about Pearson a year or so ago. Today I would have the operation that allowed me to have his children. He has built the best Leicester side since MON.  I bloody love him. And everyone is playing their hearts out for him. Nugent and Vardy.. wordless.. got to sleep.

Just got back up again.... had to come and check that i hadnt dreamt the game.

what a fantastic game, Vardey was superb, Drinky was so tight n tidy, Nuge... ahh i could go on and on.

well done Leicester, well done to those that went to the game, could hear you for most of the match.

So this is what it feels like to support a team that's actually good! Over the last 10 years I'd almost forgotten.

Cracking start to the weekend. It'll make the trip to Ikea seem a lot more bearable.

Never seen a city team play like that, even in oneil years. Have to say that's the best LCFC team performance I have seen.

Agree with this. My memory's not what it was, so I'm probably forgetting some good games, but I can't remember us playing that well since the Sunderland match with Collymore.

Superb performance.

I don't remember the last time where we possessed the ball so well and controlled the game, making fun of Derby at times.

Would love to see us play that style of football every game.

what was it 20 or so passes with a back heal that was close to being finished... We played the game how it should be played tonight. We made Derby look like little boys ....

If we get promoted I'd love us to be one of those teams that win lose or draw play great football (like Swansea or Southampton) not awful to watch and survive games. I really would like us to give it a go and play with no fear.

I didn't know that the team could play that well.  It was fantastic to watch, second half I convinced my youngest to watch to see what Championship football could be like and he was well impressed.  Now that we all know that City can play that well there's no-one to fear in the Championship.  Some teams will play better than Derby and it'll be tougher for us, but the confidence should be there that we can beat anyone.  Even better, we'd cause problems to some Premiership teams.

Years ago when we went up under MON he said that one reason for the promotion was that half the side were Div. 1 (Premiership) quality.  I believe we've got the same situation now.  I'm looking forward to the rest of this season with a big smile on my face.

One last point, I thought that the ref had a decent game - he was fair to both sides and didn't go waving yellows at every tackle.  Hope we get him again.

I agree. Like others I can't trust my memory but I spent quite a lot of the match last night laughing at how good it was, it was just brilliant.

The fact that comments like this are being aired is a fantastic testament to Pearson and the progress he has made. Never underestimate the task he took on and what is emerging from that hard work.

Terrific evening in the stags head, got some good songs going as well and finally met someone off the forum in person, mr ric flair.

Things can't get much better for lcfc at the moment, enjoy it everyone!

Good to meet you mate. I'm suffering this morning, ended up in Soho until about 3am
