sylofox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 We're nothing no one cares. 4_1 means nothing they still don't care. Your stopping down you still don't care We're going up you fvcking care
LCCFox96 Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Just got back. Great performance and a great atmosphere. We can hope for a few results in our favour tomorrow now we've got the 3 points on the board and then onto the next one.
Durnerz Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Had a feeling we were yet to produce our best football, what a night to do it.It almost felt like the telepathy was two passes ahead every time, Derby are no mugs and couldn't cope with the movement of our attackers. The fact it could and probably should have been 6,7 or even 8 speaks for itself.Keep this up and we're back in the bigtime and it will be well deserved.
Finnaldo Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 For a recap: Annihilating victory over the sheep for a 10 point lead over them. Moving 7 points clear of second, bearing in mind Burnleh are at Yeovil tomorrow we can hope for a miracle but whatever happens we maintain a comfortable lead at the top. Big Nige pretty much confirms two new additions to the squad with a good experienced striker and mentor to the younger strikers and a young winger that looks like he may have some potential to fill the Right Wing if needed. All in all a fantastic night and I'm looking forward to Leeds with a lot of confidence!
Stadt Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Just sent this to my chemistry teacher, who's a Derby fan obviously, "What sort of chemical unbalances do sheep have? What sort of chemical effect does the King Power stadium have on these particular sheep? Regards, An ecstatic Leicester City fan."
Stan Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Shades of Tiki-Taka tonight. I know there's still a long way to go, but I think it would take something catastrophic to knock us out of our stride, confidence wise. We may have another blip, but I'm sure it will be just that, not a slump like last season.

Leicesterpool Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Wow, Wow, Wow I actually mean wow! That was certainly a performance tonight, couldn't fault a single player on the field everyone had a cracking game, we made a really good Derby team look poor. The atmosphere was lightening, to be fair though the atmosphere as been good this season probably because of the cracking football on display at our great home. A seven point lead! are's to throw away now! speaking of which how many points do you'll think we'll need to win this league?
sylofox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Spent the night with a QPR fan in the pub. He wanted a draw or us loose. His reaction was fvck we gotta win tomoz. The result of the season he said now we really are chasing every games must win. Yeah great we won n beat the sheep but the up shot is QPR n Burnley have 2 win tomoz. Thats not from me but from a QPR fan. Preasure really is on now.
Paulmot Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Probably a City fan but made me chuckle, and spot on too. Too late for that now boys, we'll leave you and Forest to do your thing and we'll just get promoted. All on our own. Cam the Ram Member Members 273 posts Posted 31 minutes ago We need to treat Leicester as sort of a rivalry. Their fans turn up fired up and get behind the players who then work their socks off. Our fans turn up and chant about how we only dislike Forest you beat me to the derby quote thought it was desperate to be truthful
Matt Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Wow, amazing. So happy and can't begin to describe how proud I am. Excellent performance all round. As much as I'd like to there's not a lot else that's needs to be said! Keep it up! Whilst enjoying this season I've been playing it down and kept grounded but I must admit I'm starting to look, starting to get excited and daring to dream, however whilst enjoying it we must focus and keep going without getting too ahead of ourselves. C'MON!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 A few were understandably a bit twitchy on pre match thread, whilst being confident we'd win, I never expected a performance of that magnitude. The team were amazing to a man.......BarcaLeicester COYB
sdb Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Awesome, but ultimately just another 3 points. Still loads to do, starting with an equally tough game next Sat!
midland_red Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 wow...just wow... I thought we would win 1-0 (and said so on this this board). But I never expected this kind of demolition job. Here is what the daily mail said, and it seems they had a reporter at the KP instead of just using agency copy. Nigel Pearson’s rampaging leaders sent an emphatic message to the rest of the Championship as they ruthlessly demolished Derby’s naive youngsters. In a powerful display of industry and know-how, Leicester established a seven-point lead over their nearest rivals by dismantling their near neighbours before a jubilant crowd. wouldn't it be great now if Burnley and QPR drop a point or two tomorrow????
ousefox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 David Nugent was incredible today. What a performance - looked so up for it. Fingers cross he continues this for the rest of the season. What a win too. Best I've seen us play in ages. Nobody put a foot wrong.
nlukka Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 I'm still in shock. That was, quite simply, the best I've seen us play in a very long time. To think, I was feeling nervous pre-match about playing an in-form Derby side who were playing with confidence. Tonight was more than 3 points for me, it was a complete performance of the highest order. I know there's still such a long way to go between now and the end of the season, but having witnessed that tonight, I genuinely don't think we are going to throw this away now. Tonight is the night that I genuinely believe we're going to be promoted this season, and I'm normally not one to get carried away.
Thracian Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Superlative. I've dreamed of seeing Leicester city play football like that for a whole game. They went through Derby faster than an enema and should send a video to Leicester schools as an example of how the beautiful game can and should be played. Four goals, two efforts bouncing off the woodwork and other chances from moves which were almost conjuring tricks in football terms they were so fast on the eye and so unanswerable. Some misery complained that Leicester let up but while they might have momentarily got their breath back and there might have been one occasion when we were short of runners into the box I'm not surprised because that was express football and the Orient Express at that when it came to quality. Stopping City tonight would have been like trying to plug a breached dam with a pygmy's dildo. We just overwhelmed Derby with the sheer brilliance of our one-touch passing and it really was a joy to behold. How could anyone mark that as less than a 10/10 team performance? I really don't think I've seen anything better over 90 minutes in years of watching Championship football and honestly wonder if this team might yet compare with our great teams of the past, we were that slick. The "Wally" could have done with a brolly - not for the rain but to shield his eyes because Derby were twisted and turned more viciously than the air in a developing tornado. With two goals and two assists David Nugent looked a whole lot better than a guy who just scored penalties and what a performance from Jamie Vardy. From the moment he stated his intent with that surging run down the left flank, Derby never had a prayer. How great it was to see him rewarded with a goal and to see him win another penalty through chasing a nothing situation and making their defender panic. Selective readers complain I never praise Knockaert so lets leave them in no doubt that the man was a maestro tonight, a team player with individual touches and an absolute nightmare for the visitors just as was Lloyd Dyer whose combination of swift running and fast passing left the Derby defence metaphorically punch drunk. Altogether an absolute treat to watch and a joy to remember and well done Richard DeLaet for not only scoring his first goal of the season but from a move of such deadly precision it could only be admired. Seriously 10/10 for everyone. And that includes the manager and coaching staff.

Happy Fox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 I told you Dierby were nothing special, but you didn't listen now you did!
Saxondale Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Just realised thrashing those dweebs has now given us the best goal difference in the league. Added bonus.
