Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 WOW! We were brilliant, just got home watched us hammer Derby 4-1 should of had at least 6! The whole team were fantastic, played as a team there was unity, the speed of our passing and attacks were too much for Derby to handle. Plus had a few beers, things don't get much better than this. Going to bed a very happy contented man.
cjslcfc Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Quality performance tonight! One of the best displays for some time and Vardy and Nugent looked a real handful and Dyer has just been immense this season. The lad Hughes is a talent for the future though - he is the fulcrum of Derby's play and only 19 years of age. He was given a physical lesson tonight but he sees a pass and will move on to better things (ex-pupil of mine, so I am biased!) Things are looking promising for the Foxes. COYB. ex-pupil? You from Repton or Foremarke?
Tielemans63 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Well done tonight Should win the league tbh One serious question. Where are your fans? Where were your's more to the point? Pathetic effort even for a game against a team you don't care about.
Saxondale Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Well done tonight Should win the league tbh One serious question. Where are your fans? Emulating the tricky trees' massive turn out against prem opposition in the cup - attendance 14,397.
Bryn Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Hughes definitely the pick of the Derby midfielders, thought Bryson was utterly anonymous. Loved that sliced shot of Hughes' mind. Drinkwater and James are better footballers.
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Where were your's more to the point? Pathetic effort even for a game against a team you don't care about. I can't believe Derbingham Founty didn't even fill our end. 2 whole Cities and it was probably less than 2000. Tinpot.
Fatbloke Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 We`re 7 points clear We`re 7 points clear We`re Leicester City We`re 7 points clear

HoustonFox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Looking forward to the DVD of that one. Extras include: Full commentary from behind the scenes - find out what Nigel says into his lapel during the game! Brollycam - watch the Wally's reaction to every minute with picture in picture! Bullet time - see the world how Lloyd sees it. He's so quick the rest of the world slows down! Cooking with Ian and Alan - join Stringer and Youngy as they make their pre-match butties - recipes included! View from the away end - see the game in first person as the derby fans saw it, through their hands. Warning - those with motion sickness or epilepsy should be prepared for lots of side to side camera movement due to head shaking and looking at shoes or anywhere else,
Swarles Barkley Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Hey bit random but does anyone know the music they were playing when fl live on sky sports started. It sounded like kasabian but im not sure which song
foxsake Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 For those of us who can't be in Leicester, what a fantastic game to have on telly. Brilliant. Leicester will be buzzing tonight. Agreed! Loved the team spirit, especially how the substitutions involved double low fives and hugs. Tells the whole story about the attitude of the players and the atmosphere at the club. The passing was a joy to watch. An absolute rout, to quote our favourite local BBC commentator.
Grewks Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 It is a shame that Phillips and Mahrez were not available for tonight. Bringing those on in the last 30 mins, and we may have had 8
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 I was mad at the pricks behind me chanting "if you're watching on the telly, you're a cvnt" soooo annoying. A few of my best mates are massive fans and one has a season ticket but couldn't make game, it's gonna be so tough for me to break the news to him that he is a cvnt.
21st Century Fox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Glancing at the Derby boards, there seems to be a 50/50 split between giving us credit for a sublime performance and putting it down to it being our "cup final".
cambridgefox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 We looked the real deal tonight mate, QPR board extremely flattering about us!And we can do this I read that earlier. They do think we are Barcelona!
Haydos Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Glancing at the Derby boards, there seems to be a 50/50 split between giving us credit for a sublime performance and putting it down to it being our "cup final". From what I've read most think they were awful and got it all wrong (fair), and plenty think we were unplayable (also fair). Odd few that seem to think we were thugs (what?), should have had 4/5 bookings and that Nuge committed a foul when he robbed their player in the build up to Vardy's goal ( )
Finnaldo Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Glancing at the Derby boards, there seems to be a 50/50 split between giving us credit for a sublime performance and putting it down to it being our "cup final". Good. I hope the players took it as a cup final. They should always look to better their performance and play to the best of their ability. They did that tonight and it showed in abundance. A credit to the club and themselves and did us all proud. Derby, on the other hand, didn't give a flying fook. They were poor and outclassed, and if there fans can't recognise this they're deluded. In their run they played two decent sides in their run in us and Wigan and got beaten clearly in both.
billyn88 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Terrific evening in the stags head, got some good songs going as well and finally met someone off the forum in person, mr ric flair. Things can't get much better for lcfc at the moment, enjoy it everyone!
tooney92 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Hahahaha just read this on the derby forum; Just got back from Shitster and jesus christ! Never seen more of an inept bunch of buffoons trying to play football than tonight. I don't know what we were doing but it looked like 11 men in a Zumba class; all running around with no direction waving their arms around (if you haven't been to a Zumba class I reccomend it. I know someone who runs classes so if you're interested please contact me). Anyway they were all screaming and blaming each other because no one had the testicles to take the game by the scruff of the neck and show some PASSION!!!!!!! Like its only our biggest derby bar Stoke who we never get to play nowadays so at least show you want to be wearing the skin tight white shirt!!! And don't get me started on the brolly wielding, accent conjouring twonk on the sideline who stood there motionless for 90 minutes counting the money gliding into his bank account. God knows what he was shouting but it was probably some Dutch bullshit as the players didnt seem to listen or notice the ginger marsupial on the side. The trauma I suffered tonight makes me never want to leave Spondon again. The only thing more shocking than our performance tonight was McClaren's hairline #McClarenOut!!
Vlad the Fox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Thought it was a good atmosphere tonight, 'But their hopes of an unlikely fightback were immediately hit as the Foxes broke from kick-off and Nugent coolly netted from the penalty spot after Craig Forsyth fouled Vardy to leave their boisterous fans in celebratory mood.' Even the BBC thought so. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25584318 though it's no wonder we won if they've but cluff back in charge.

billyn88 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Fvcking hell, what state was he in at full time? Not too different from the start to be honest!
Rincewind Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Had a pint for every goal City scored plus a couple to celebrate so excuse any errors in typing. Watched the game in Kings Head and I can say bar major slip ups in form City have the league wrapped up. They seemed to ave the understanding and knew where each player was which proves that a manager needs more than a few games to get a team to gell. The right players have to b in place, You could buy in the worls best rated player but if he did not fit in with the rest of the team it could affet results. NP is obviously only looking for players that will fit in and if they dont none will be signed. May what is needed with the England squad is nt less friendlies but more so the players can bond.
