Finally, The Championship fear Leicester City!

They only dislike us because they're embarrassed after getting all cocky last year only for their biggest result in recent years become a bittersweet memory of what could have been for them, whereas they've had to watch us simply brush it off and soar to where we are now without spending big or relying on another team's players.  In a few years they'll have forgotten us entirely to their bitter resentment of whichever mid-table teams do more to keep them out of touch of the playoffs.

I just love reading other forums, and seeing how much they hate us, it means we are doing something right lol

The Forest forum was hilarious - their dude nailed Radio Leicester's coverage in two posts:

lol  lol

The "banter-riffic" line about Stringer had me howling, he's definitely one of those awful people that still uses the word LAD in capitals as a suffix.

Did somebody on the Man City forum really say that we could struggle to hold on to Nugent if the likes of Everton and Liverpool come sniffing lol lol lol lol

last night he was absolutely terrific his best performance this season, but I doubt we have much to worry about with regards to Liverpool and Everton. His a top championship striker not a top PL striker...

Why does a Forest fan claim Lloyd Dyer is shit? How can you say that while watching yesterdays game?!

The same way half our fanbase thought he was shit until this year.

Im still waiting for Fleckney Mike to offer a few words of wisdom on Lloyd Dyer...

Yeah I know, but it was more the fact that they were watching a game where he was playing really well and still saying he is shit.

Watford fans don't seem to like us, do they.

That game seems like a blessing. It wasn't at the time, but now... A lot of teams have lost a play off final then struggled.

Yeah I can't explain that either.

I remember a lot of us were criticising Nigel when he came back for the second spell for keeping him in the team. We were all claiming he was too limited and had no control, etc. And that he was one of Pearsons League One favourites. We were partly right but Nigel was also right in that pace kills at this level and if he could get him one on one with a full back a handful of times in a game then he would be very dangerous for us.

You've got to credit Dyer aswell tbf, he's working harder than he used to and does run at the defence alot more rather than hugging the touchline and drifting in and out of the game. I think that's a confidence and conditioning thing.

The player who's first touch has improved immensely is Jamie Vardy. He was always quick and scored for fun at a lower level, but his touch wasnt one of a good Championship striker. He's NOT the same player as last season. His all round game has improved dramatically and now, at a million quid, he's looking a steal. He's become the envy of most, if not all of the other Championship managers.

To buy a 'risk' and to make that risk come good? Thats excellent coaching and excellent business. If Vardy keeps on like this and helps fire us to the Prem (like Jermaine was bought to do... remember?) a million quid will look like money VERY well spent.

It is the best million we spent, I believe Pearson when we bought him said he will become a fan favourite... that is happening now...

Pearson must have always had the confidence that Vardy could cut it in the championship, and the confidence not to farm him out on loan, that he would need time but he would adapt and flourish. He knew the talent was there.

Just another superb piece of management from Nige.

Saw somewhere earlier that someone said we spent £2million ( lol) on Matty James as an argument that we've spent loads in recent years... Did the De Laet AND James deal even cost £2million all together?!
