Jace Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 Haha, great post. (Not being sarcastic. I'd have done the laughing man emoticon but I'm on my phone.) I really need to stop reading threads from the last post backwards I keep posting random out of place jokes out of nowhere
AndyBrew Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 So it's right to tell a 5yr old that another adult is an idiot is it. When he's 15 and say's to you Fvck off you old w4nker and robs your wallet that will be ok to will it? What are you on?? Seriously I do sometimes wonder what has happened in this world !
Jackubu Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 Was this decision to ban your dad not taking into account what had happened with the incident in the ticket office aswell then? I agree with you that the member of staff should not have said what they had done about coming back would be wrong to say that but maybe I could understand why they had said it if this had been a recurring incident? After what i happened in the ticket office with me the club were contemplating banning me according to a club rep but no action was taken. The same club rep has said to me nothing links the two. As we actually had a laugh together how i got nothing for my appalling behavior yet my dads did.
shade Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 this injustice really puts the Mandela irrelevancy in to perspective.
C-man Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 If anyone wants to congratulate the club on their behavior does anyone want to explain the following. For a couple of months i have been trying to arrange a meeting with Kevin Barclay to which he had agreed to. However recently i received an email saying the meeting was on hold until further notice "due to reasons they cannot talk about" You are not the only one who has had a similar response. Anyone got any idea on what it could be?
The Doctor Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 Clearly never been? I've been to over 900 games mate and I worked as a Steward and at 18 years old I was abused by fans week in week out but that's acceptable is it because I'd be naive thinking I wouldn't? It's no more acceptable than working in a shop and I you think so you're an "idiot" in my opinion! I just got on with it and that's what this person should have done, some people are clearly too precious! Did I say that? No - I said that abusing stewards isn't ignored; The stewards I've seen have been power-hungry morons who've punished people for sweet FA, abusing them doesn't get ignored, it ends up with you being banned for quite a while, just as you can get a ban from certain areas of the ground for touching a steward.
Bayfox Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 I didnt condone my dads actions. But judging by some of that comment respect is not in your vocabulary. as I said I have said all I have to contribute on the issue. however I will say. I posted based on experience. I'd love to know what part of my post lacked any respect. your dad may think the shop staff are idiots I'll grant you they are incompetent at times however personal abuse is personal abuse. End off. I'll ignore your instant judgement of me despite the fact I can spell respect meaning it must be in my vocabulary.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 13 January 2014 Posted 13 January 2014 Taking the ja606 account as read: Calling a retail assistant an idiot is wrong, and any member of staff shouldn't have to deal with it but the club have used a steamroller to crack a walnut, or maybe a filbert. I've chatted to Steve outside the ticket office before and he might be a bit direct but he's no dangerous lunatic. I've been called worse before and in the situation it's easy enough to just walk away knowing you're following your manager's instructions and you're in the right and he'll eventually realise that missing out on a couple of half time scores isn't the end of the world as soon as the second half kicks off. A ban from the stadium is frankly ridiculous.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Can i just say you are all idiots!Mods ban this man for 3 days!
Guest MattP Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 When I worked in retail a long time ago if I got insulted I'd reply back with one. Going crying to your manager? Jeez. If the guy is really upset and offended at being called an idiot he's going to find life a long hard struggle.
sylofox Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 That must explain why there's so many criminals, The parents told them another adult is an idiot, Then when they turned 15 they become thieves, Better not educate my children about about bad people being idiots,of they'll likely become criminals!! No it's called showing no respect or total lack of respect.
MattGamble92 Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 I'm not defending this man because he looks like some sort of scouse schlepper. But why do the staff in the shop leave Sky Sports News on, wait for a crowd to huddle round and watch, and then walk up with a remote with a smug grin on their faces as they change to the music channel? Why not just make sure all the TV's are off before the crowds of people come in?
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 So... Is Nicky Maynard signing or NOT??? Oh wait, thats another pointless multi page thread isnt it

youglan Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 i can see this make the local rag again same thing happening at a league 1 club there press is all over!
1964FOX Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 You're all twats Oh no you've raised it to a level where prison sentences might become involved. I should quickly seek legal advice if I were you. If a member of the City store staff reads this and takes the word 'all' to include them you might also end up with a three season ban.
1964FOX Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 By the way I'm going to the shop for Brum tickets later. I am so tempted to try and get the word idiot directed at the staff into the general conversation. I apologise for my childish behaviour but It would be funny. Of course if I do manage to call another adult an idiot I will then have to go into the city centre and rob someone as a natural progression in the evolution of my criminal activity.
Mike Oxlong Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 He should've said "Idiom. You're pulling my leg."
Dan Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Funny isn't it that people who've sided with the club taking the moral high ground over the word 'idiot' have said things far worse about a bloke they're judging by one picture
