brisfox Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 It's the sound of Man United fans crying. I think it is my favourite sound in the world
lavrentis Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Most of them are changing to Chelsea as we speak
dmayne7 Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 It's the sound of Man United fans crying. I think it is my favourite sound in the world Its not mine because Chelsea are winning. How any Leicester fan (well any football fan really) could not despise Chelsea is beyond me.
bovril Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Its not mine because Chelsea are winning. How any Leicester fan (well any football fan really) could not despise Chelsea is beyond me. Yep. Man Utd are a proper club. Manchester's a great city, I've always liked going there to watch football. I mean Ferguson was a twat but their (real) fans have always seemed fine. Chelsea are just scum. They're the footballing equivalent of a chav lottery winner.
foxfanazer Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Much prefer chelsea than United. Great to see one them struggling
bovril Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 I'm guessing any City fan happy to see Chelsea win weren't at the games at Filbert Street in 97 and 98. One particular memory stays with me... some loudmouth cockney caant type gobbing over the side of the Carling stand onto the fans sitting in the tier below. Then going back to sit next to his son.
Voll Blau Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Hate Chelsea but I do love all the Leicestershire-based "die hard Reds" crying on fvcking Facebook about Moyes. They're getting the valuable "you can't win 'em all" life lesson about two decades later than the rest of us. Long may the decline continue.
Fox92 Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 I dislike Chelsea, but not to bothered about who won. I feel for the real Manchester United fans. They must hate being brushed with those who aren't regulars. There's a United STH in my lectures who knows his stuff, and I've met other genuine United fans who I've had very good conversation's with. I don't mind who someone supports as long as they don't sort of disrespect other clubs, in my case Leicester, and know their stuff about football and the history of the game.
separator Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Plenty of Man U fans ringing into the 606 phone in this evening wanting Moyes out. Some seem to want an ex-player at the helm, Giggs, Steve Bruce and OGS all mentioned, deary me
linemakers Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Don't mind Chelsea but hate Man U and their plastic fans. Really moaning that there team dare lose and now they are losing that it's the refs fault for every match. Should of been a second red card in today's match 2 footed flying tackle. Hope there still shit when hopefully we play them next year
DennisNedry Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 I don't mind Chelsea at all. Dislike Man U and Liverpool much more than Chelsea. I guess some City fans dislike them due to stuff that happened decades ago regarding violence?
Dan Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Can't bring myself to be happy about Chelsea winning
Guest Bilo Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Fvcking hate Chelski with a passion. Sieg Heiling NF scum in the 1970s and 1980s, fuelled by dodgy roubles today. That being said, I am quite enjoying the wailing and general gnashing of teeth from the plastic Reds who've never seen Old Trafford.
Dan Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I'm too young for any of that but I think Chelsea and the 'Roman Empire' represent just about everything wrong with the English game today. Awful prices, manufactured atmosphere, reckless spending, short-termism and a trigger happy sugar daddy. I honestly think to some extent they've under-achieved under Abramovich. They haven't done badly by any means, but am I right in saying they've spent over a billion on everything during his time there? (Might be bullshit), I thought they'd have more to show for it.

I see where you're coming from, but they've not done too shabby, let's be honest.
Mack Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I dont care about Chelsea winning, however the dominance of the Premier League by Manchester United was not the best this for English Football, and it's nice to see some other sides in with a shout of the title. If I could hand pick a Champion it would be Arsenal, but my best guess it they will end up 3rd behind Manchester City and Chelsea.

Bert Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Have always liked United, it's funny that so many people dislike them for no other reason than for the fact that they used to be very successful. It was enjoyable seeing people get their knickers in a twist most weeks about it. They're in a transition period now, and I can see them going the way of how Liverpool have been in the past 5 years for a while. Their golden generation has all but ended and the players that they have aren't up there with the quality of the teams that are currently challenging for the title. They will struggle to qualify for the Europa league this season if they carry on in this vein of form and therefore will struggle to attract the type of player that the club needs for the success that they crave. The fear factor of going to Old Trafford is no longer there and the biggest loss of all, is that Ferguson is gone. One thing that won't change about United is their fantastic away support. Stood up and singing throughout 90 minutes at every away game, with a great song book. Do I feel sorry for their fans who aren't glory supporters? Not really, no club has any given right to do well, they have to earn that and at the minute they're not doing so.
RobHawk Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I think alot of depends on age! I grew up in the nineties when Man Utd started winning everything! I went from not knowing any Man Utd fans to half the bloody playground supporting them. I never understood why people supported them just because they were doing well. Over the years it got tiring listening to the same old Man Utd glory supporting rubbish. To see their team finally in decline, its a beautiful moment. I don't like Chelsea or Man City who think they can buy themselves the title, but this year has been the best PL season in years so far and i also don't have that personal resentment of having plastics shoving their success don't my throat from a very young age!
Corky Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Well, they all said they'd support them when they weren't doing so well, so we'll see now if that rings true. Never liked Chelsea but their support used to be decent and loud, rather than the plastic flags and home-made posters that they bring to games now.

They could've absolutely dominated English football for me but they simply haven't.
