Happy Fox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 eicester leading race to snap up Spurs starlet Alex Pritchard LEICESTER are leading the chase for Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard. Share 0 By Adrian Kajumba/ Published 21st January 2014 YOUNG GUN: Alex Pritchard could be set for Leicester [GETTY] The Foxes have made an enquiry for attacking midfielder Pritchard, 20, who is a target for a number of Championship sides. England u-20 playmaker Pritchard has caught the eye during his season long loan at Swindon. He has made 31 appearances, scoring five times and setting up 15 goals. However StarSport understands boss Tim Sherwood would be willing to let Pritchard leave this month if Spurs' asking price - believed to be in the region of £500,000 - is met.
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 could this be a back up for danny drinkwater,
ScouseFox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 That is a bloody impressive amount of assists if that stat is right. 15 in 31 apps! Never heard of him like but that's decent.
kingfox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 This lad is quality. Seen bits of him this season, and he's a skillful player with an eye for goal, and as you can tell he's a good little playmaker with the amount of assists he's got. Probably won't happen though, but even with the depth we have now, I'd still love a player like him.
Libertine Dream Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Sounds like our kind of signing, not sure where the space for him is but it wouldn't surprise me
Simmo86 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Swear he made his debut for Posh against us last year
LCCFox96 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 A good one for the future and one to mix things up a little bit immediately if needed too. He clearly capable given his loan spell at Swindon. In today's market £500k is a good deal for a player of his calibre with spurs academy training, a successful loan spell and England u/20 caps. Worth a shout tbh
Leicesterpool Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Well if he doesn't cost us to much why not!?
Simonb Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 id buy him at 500k and loan him out to a lower championship side so we don't disturb the current squad and to help his development for the future it the current market thats a bargain if he turns out to be good, and not a major loss if not... he's young so likely to improve

mozartfox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 We can offer Spurs Zak and SSL in exchange (plus 499k). Worth a punt.
ollielcfc Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Could maybe look at buying him and keeping him on loan at Swindon - keep everybody happy?
Itsthejoeker Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 The town players train at the gym I work at, he seems a sound lad.
LCCFox96 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 The town players train at the gym I work at, he seems a sound lad. Couldn't have a quick chat with him about Leicester on the way out on time could you?
Bryn Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 No aversion to this at all, would give us four first choice centre mids plus Hammond if we need an anchor.
Itsthejoeker Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Couldn't have a quick chat with him about Leicester on the way out on time could you? I'll offer him a lift to the game on saturday, would that help?
TJB-fox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 He's good this lad! Can we have that Reeves lad off MK Dons books too, think hes on loan there also.
dpjfox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 only going off utube but this kid looks the real deal. reminds me of Mark Davies
Happy Fox Posted 21 January 2014 Author Posted 21 January 2014 He is a playmaker a player that can glide past the opposition in the centre of the park and can provide assists, we don't have one of them on our books so would be the the type of player we would need.
Simonb Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 only going off utube but this kid looks the real deal. reminds me of Mark Davies but mark davies is hardly the 'real deal' is he?

Drinkwater? I'm sure he has the ability to glide past the opposition His ability to change the direction of play in an instant is fantastic, would be good to have some competition in there though
dmayne7 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 500k?! He's way too good for League 1. I'd have him in a heartbeat
