Fawaz is like some kind of horrid boyfriend treating his spouse with neglect and Forest are like some poor desperate soul absolutely terrified of being alone.

PLEASE DOWN LEAVE US FAWAZ, WE LOVE YOU FAWAZ, GET IT IN MY ARSE FAWAZ

Stuart Pearce is a good type of manager if your looking to keep your team in the league avoiding relegation, sort of steadying the ship. I can't see him being the type of taking a club up.

He'll last one pre-season before being replaced by someone else.

OMFG has anyone posted that Pearce kissing the Derby badge pic in the trees forums yet? Surely that has to piss in their parade a bit.

Old news. That was at Ted Mcminns benefit match and if you actually look at the picture, he's not kissing the derby badge. It's the shirt he had on underneath which was, you guessed it, a forest one.

What do you make of it Hux? It seems like another populist appointment to get the fans onside and save face. While clearly that's worked as far as the forest fans are concerned, is he the man for the job or do you think you'll be back in the hunt for a new man this time next year?

It's definitely populist, but it don't think he has to save face. He appointed fans favourite billy and when he went fruit loops had no choice but to sack him. Psycho is a rather unknown quantity atm. I think he didn't do too bad at man city given all that was going on and was ok for the u21s if not exactly spectacular so has the potential to do ok. He'll certainly be a steadier influence then our last manager. Also in his favour is he isn't dean Saunders.

We have a decent squad and so there's no real reason why he can't do well. But above all, more important then anything is, he isn't dean Saunders.

You'd have to know that beforehand though ;)

True enough, and having slogged through his autobiography (not a book I'd recommend ) I feel I've earned that knowledge.

My mates a Wolves fan and hates Dean Saunders with a passion. Now he would of been an awful appointment. lol

His name was starting to pop up and it struck the fear of god into every forest fan.

lol When davies started to be linked with us before pearson came back i had that fear. keegan as well. As much as you tell yourself its just speculation, agents stirring you cant get the fear away.

As for pearce, i think he will steady the club on the pitch but doubt whether he has the ability to see you up. davies had to go however, id said for a long time the bloke was on the edge and i think he finally flipped making his job untenable. Is it possible some of his team selections were a **** you to fawaz and his supposed interference? And why is fawaz loved so much? from the outside looking in there is a lot of question marks hanging over his head, is that mist rolling in from the trent laced with something.

Here's an alternative one: http://mistrollingin.wordpress.com/2014/04/03/stuart-pearce-day/. And tucked in there is a paragraph which shows why Florist are in such deep sh!t:

"Two Heads of Recruitment have been sacked in the last 20 months and currently no one is actively leading in what is a key success factor. Two development coaches have also been sacked disrupting the path from the academy to the first team. There is much work yet to be done."

That last sentence is a candidate for understatement of the decade.

I think it looks quite apt, next to the candy floss badge.
