It's a shame Billy has seemingly been forgotten since he left, he was the King and taking them back to the glory days.

How fickle and ungrateful.

"You know what would be a nice touch? Clubbing together to fly a plane over the City Ground with a message of thanks for Fawaz trailing behind it."

"Imagine a plane flying over the City Ground next Saturday during the Millwall game with a banner that simply says something like 'THANKS FAWAZ - WE LOVE YOU!' behind it? We'd make ourselves look like the truly class act we all know we are."

I just don't get it. Say if we appointed Walshy when we'd messed up our promotion bid last season I reckon we'd have 50% or more happy Nige had gone but barely anyone wanting to suck the owner off for appointing a club legend who probably isn't a good manager. It's different for Pearce cos he's already proved he's not a good manager, too.

But the forest boards and reactions are nearly 100% this is the best thing to ever happen. Can not one of them see this is just daft?

I'd Chip a Quid or 2 in!

I'd love to see a plane going over the city ground saying "Thanks Fawaz, WE LOVE YOU! From all at LCFC"

"Perhaps we could have a plane towing a picture of his cock... and then another plane towing a picture of a fans mouth, and then the two do a flyby and it looks like the fan is sucking him off.

FFS... just listen to yourselves."

We are owned by the richest, most enthusiastic and genuinely decent chairman in the entire football league.

We have a coolest kit in the league. It's Adidas.

They also have the one making the biggest pigs ear of everything, it's like us 3 years ago... funny to watch when it's not happening to you.

Of course it will end in tears, but they won't be our tears.

I'm afraid you're very, very wrong!

The tears of laughter will be resonating around the East Midlands when he's hounded out.

Cant believe they have made him manager. Woeful manager at man city and under 21s. Makes me piss looking at how happy the forest fans are celebrating. Imagine he was a manager that had no links to forest. With the managerial record he has they would all be fuming at his appointment. Will be great to watch them next season still in the championship and playing awful football. Lets see how long the pearce band wagon rolls on for until the fans inevitably turn on him and force him out.

Cant believe Fawaz has pulled the sheet over there eyes AGAIN. When will forest fans realise there chairman is a massive fvck nugget and absolutely clueless.

would be even more interesting if they actually win the play offs this season. i could defo see derbys all time low points record getting smashed.

Plenty wanted Walsh as manager during Mandaric's tenure.

There were some who wanted him when the dickheads were calling for NP to be sacked towards the end of last season. Thankfully we appear to have owners who are more intelligent than that.

I have never understood the idea that "We need a manager with [insert appropriate team colour] blood in his veins" and Pearce's appointment beggars belief - as does the reaction of most of the posters on the Forest Fans Forum. Mind you, they seem to ban anyone who isn't a rabid fan toeing the party line, so maybe no surprise.

An interesting thought is that, if Gary Brazil somehow manages to get Florist into the play-offs and then they win at Wembley, Pearce would be managing in the Prem. Which is fine, because it would mean one of the relegation spots was sorted from the start of the season. Either way, I can't see him lasting in the job past the end of October, if that, and I can see Florist getting relegated from the Championship next season.

I can't get over the fact that they're all being deadly serious. The most delusional set of fans ever, hilarious soap opera going on at the City Ground lol lol

Why has he bottled the chance to get them up this season?

Makes no sense, unless he has discovered that Nat Jackson is leaving BBC East Midlands this summer and wants to avoid her nasal advances.

Apparently it's because he has a contract with Talksport to see out until after the World Cup...

Pearce Saga is hilarious, this will only end one way the Forest deadheads and that's heading back down to League One with Karl Darlow playing up front. They moaned about neanderthal Davies playing Greg Halford up front and Darius Henderson, they will have some fun with Pearce then!

Stuart Pearce is a good type of manager if your looking to keep your team in the league avoiding relegation, sort of steadying the ship. I can't see him being the type of taking a club up.
