The Horse's Mouth Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 It is lovely to seem them embracing Fawaz after a few years of them mocking us for the Thais.
Fox92 Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Shove all this in the Championship thread now We aint playing those teams for a while!
Corky Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 "So, Fawaz, Stuart, how far away are you from a decent team?" "About 30 miles"
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Falling away now from 6th place Reading, and lost at home to Millwall Notts Forest remain where you belong, beneath us, leagues apart. Farewell.

Guest ttfn Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 They've basically had the same collapse as we had last season (maybe worse), difference being of course that they were never quite in as good a position as we were to start with. What happened to that superstar Algerian centre forward who was supposed to be driving them onto the Champions League?
Babylon Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Oh dear of dear... perhaps they will take a Fawaz banner as part payment? Looking on their forums apparently this "happens all the time at all clubs."
Dan Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 "So, Fawaz, Stuart, how far away are you from a decent team?" "About 30 miles" Stealing this

Vlad the Fox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 http://www.nottinghampost.com/Derby-make-official-complaint-85-000-debt/story-20923822-detail/story.htmlCarltonFella | April 07 2014, 7:03PMIt is bad enough that we lost to the Sheep, but this is just embarrassing . Warnock said there was no one to talk to about footballing matters . He claims we had to phone Leicester to get advise on the loan process. What a shambles! Big Al has systematically got rid of the back office staff and it is making us look stupid and now costing the club money. We need a Chief Executive to run the off the field matters efficiently or it won't be long before we drop a big one . Come on Big Al this is serious. They are a shambles. In fawaz we trust.
tylesta Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Is fawaz all he is meant to be. Not the first time stuff like this has happened. Staff and players have been paid late. Chelsea had to contact the league about money for chalabar. Catering company and now there bezzies from derby are complaing about 85.000 thats owed.
Dan Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 It's been clear to nearly everyone that Fawaz isn't all he's cracked up to be. He says the right things on Twitter so gets a free pass from a lot of gullible morons.
davieG Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 He sounds like a distant (not too far away) relative to Del Boy.
Woollett's Wellies Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Fawaz on Twitter... @FAWAZ_ALHASAWI @fawaz_alhasawi1Cowards die many times before their death @FAWAZ_ALHASAWI @fawaz_alhasawi1Time will soon teach you what you were ignorant of From this thread http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40739 Perhaps 'King Billy' is about to be subject to a Fatwah? The quotes are from Shakespeare. Now. If he'd wanted a proper Shakespeare quote for Billy then this would have hit the spot.... “A knave; a rascal; an eater of broken meats; abase, proud, shallow, beggarly, three-suited,hundred-pound, filthy, worsted-stocking knave; alily-livered, action-taking knave, a whoreson,glass-gazing, super-serviceable finical rogue;one-trunk-inheriting slave; one that wouldst be abawd, in way of good service, and art nothing butthe composition of a knave, beggar, coward, pandar, and the son and heir of a mongrel bitch: one whom Iwill beat into clamorous whining, if thou deniestthe least syllable of thy addition.â€â€• William Shakespeare, King Lear

Woollett's Wellies Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 To give them their due. That's what a number of the Forest fans seem to be saying!
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 that is the most tinpot, shittiest banner i have ever seen draped over a side of a stand. its got a fooking hash tag on for christs sake! They have another one that is even worse! It reads: "The Tricky Trees: Always standing tall" Is fawaz all he is meant to be. Not the first time stuff like this has happened. Staff and players have been paid late. Chelsea had to contact the league about money for chalabar. Catering company and now there bezzies from derby are complaing about 85.000 thats owed. Word with the Peltier situation is that Fawz signed him thinking Warnock would take the job, then tried to send him back to Leeds when Warnock turned it down, Leeds told Forest they'd have to pay his wages for the rest of the season as agreed anyway, Fawaz refused, Leeds went to The FA, Fawaz had to take Peltier back on loan for the season or face paying for a player he didn't have!
RedHux Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 He pays for quite a few players that may as well spend their saturdays at home so one more won't make much difference.
Dan Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 As an aside, I actually put them to draw 3-3 last night in a prediction league
