QPR v Burnley next Saturday.

How and why on earth do people think a draw is the best result for City?

:o

Because a result means that one team drops 3 points and one gains 3, whereas a draw means that 2 teams drop 2 points for a total of 4 points gained on promotion rivals.

I hope Austin and Ings get into a fist fight. Both get straight reds and bans.

Vokes tries to break it up and gets lamped by Barton. Vokes broken cheek rules him out for a month, Barton banned too.

Maths not your strong point bud? lol

I made the point earlier. I do wish people would read..

Its surely better to have a two horse race than a three horse race. Its the top TWO that go up by right. It would be better to put distance between ourselves and the team in third and then get into the final furlong with QPR. If they win the league, who cares? If we do... bonus!

As long as their are three sides vying for two spots, the risk remains that we won't get one of them.

Stick that in yer pipe!

This , the fact that there are paying each other is statistically good news. We can't loose!

I'll go for the draw, I think qpr could hit a bad run and we understate Burnley

A draw = 2 points to our main rivals and a win either way = 3 points to our rivals?

Yes I think other teams drawing is good news, even in this context..

Austin does the unspeakable and celebrates against his old club which enrages Sean Dyche who runs on to the pitch and smacks Austin with his shoe. Chaos ensues with Barton bitting Trippier's penis off while Vokes on Joe Jordan.

'Arry tries to run over and help but hilariously trips over his own chin. Krancjar damages his stomach because he's laughing so much which rules him out for the rest of the season.

In total:

5 reds

11 yellows

12 injuries

2 amputations

A draw is clearly the best result, we are most likely going to be challenged by at least one of these clubs for the title or automatics come the end of the season, possibly both of them. Any result which sees 2 of our closest rivals drop points is a good one. The fact that the difference between the 2 teams is one point means that QPR winning doesn't make it a 2 horse race, unless 4 points is an insurmountable difference, in which case it's all good as we've won the league. Lets also bear in mind that by Saturday Burnley could be ahead of QPR or Derby could be ahead of Burnley. A draw is the best possible result as it means 2 of our promotion rivals drop points, as opposed to one.

Anyway it is the second most important result of the day, so I really don't care as long as we end the day on 66 points I'll be happy.

With QPR's squad and no doubt imminent signings they are more likely to be a threat than Burnley,March and April will really test the squads and like us last season i just cannot see Burnley lasting the pace, they have been very fortunate with injuries though at some point they are bound to lose key players and looking at there bench its not as good as others aroud the top,so i would like QPR to win

Surely everyone thinking Burnley will fade away should want them to win on Saturday. If you don't think Burnley will challenge us at the end of the season, and QPR will, then surely you want QPR to drop points.

:dunno:

Our run started with a hard fought own at QPR-I think we underestimate both Burnley's strength and what a battling win at Burnley would do for QPR's belief (or vice versa). A draw is the best result for us mathematically and psychologically. Put more daylight between us and the two nearest and let them both despair at the gap-that gives us insurance should the trees/sheep put on a spurt near the end.

Just looking at tomorrow's fixtures and to me it looks like we have the most difficult fixture out of the top 4.

As someone said earlier, tomorrow's games might have be a big factor in what we want to happen Saturday.
