13 is the current record, if I'm not mistaken and we're painfully close to that!!! Although I just have a feeling Forest or Watford will end our unbeaten run

Annoying thing to say but a win on Sat could be the most important of them all. Doing so when Burnely or QPR or even both drop points would be a huge psychological blow for them. Plus it's a tough game for us anyway.

24/24 points. Fvck me that's impressive.

When you put it like that, it makes you realise we started this run on 39 points! That's crazy!

It's only compensating for last season's slump in early 2013.:P

But in all honesty, that's one heck of an achievement. And given tonight's result, it looks like a two-horse race between us and the Hoops.

(No, I'm not counting my chickens yet!!)

Well done to the players, fans and club management!!!

INCREDIBLE effort from Nigel and his coaching staff assembling this squad. It really has it all and they have to take huge praise for that. The players are doing and amazing job too and the work rate is so impressive!

Would love to hit 10 wins in a row but football can be cruel sometimes so I will take the 8 for now and fingers crossed for more!

It really is an incredible achievement. Well down to NP and the team, fantastic!!!

Has anyone found a list of clubs having made 8, 9, 10 etc .... And is the record 13?? I've heard it somewhere but don't know if it's true.

The record is 14, held between 4 teams:

  • Arsenal (Premier League between 10 February 2002 and 24 August 2002) (Top-flight record)
  • Manchester United (Second Division, 1904–05)
  • Bristol City (Second Division, 1905–06)
  • Preston North End (Second Division, 1950–51)

14 more wins this season would give us the record for most wins in a season by any team as well.
