jonthefox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 We haven't had that many world cup winners though, have we?.
rico Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Can't we have one of Michael Jackson?..... Or a Mark Morrisson one?
Xen Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Lets just have one of showaddywaddy. How about Sam Bailey?
FoxesAreBlue Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 How about Sam Bailey? Leg. End. Nuff' said
The Year Of The Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If we're going to have a statue of anyone it probably should be him. Everyone knows Gordon Banks and when they turn up to our ground they should know who he played for when he lifted the world cup. this
GingerrrFox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I'd prefer a statue of Arthur Rowley personally.

Charl91 Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Can't we have one of Michael Jackson?..... Would Michael Johnson do?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Transfer-news-Leicester-City-sign-statue/story-20539039-detail/story.htmlCome on Leicester sort it out
Happy Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 The clubs value some shite elephants over a Leicester City legend.

Captain... Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 As funny as all these hilarious suggestions for statues are, it is detracting from the actual story, there is a statue of Banks out there, in a school, the artist wants us to display it outside the stadium, ex players want it to be displayed outside the stadium, I would have thought the fans do too, but they seem too busy trying to be funny. So lets make sure the club know we want this to happen, write in to the Mercury, get Stringer to mention it on the radio, tweet the players, we can make this happen.

Fair enough but I still want a statue of Roy Cropper!
indierich06 Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 How much would it cost to have one commissioned and built? Surely if we the fans want this so much, we should be prepared to dip our hands in our pockets? A few events, sponsored bits and pieces and collections at home games would surely raise a fair bit of money?

A few events, sponsored bits and pieces and collections at home games would surely raise a fair bit of money? Do we need to get one commissioned and built? There's one already built, the guy who organised that wants it to be displayed at our ground, and the total cost will be less than it actually cost to make in the first place.
Captain... Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Here it is in a school after Stoke acted like a bunch of bellends:
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Here it is in a school after Stoke acted like a bunch of bellends: Stoke are a disgrace
Happy Fox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Stoke are disgrace indeed, the sooner we bring home Banks the better.
Bayfox Posted 3 February 2014 Posted 3 February 2014 Just read this in the pull out last night after getting back from bournemouth. It seems it is sat as this school going to waste, the owner seems to want to get it to city, sounds like he has money problems. The club could just pay his debts, as a payment to get it to the club. Or maybe someone such as the Foxes trust could raise the funds. This guy did something no other keeper and just 11 or 13 English players or so have ever done and he did it whilst a Leicester City player. We should have a bit more pride in our greats.
