inckley fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 There's a positive side to any result between the chasing pack when they're playing each other. But I'd say draws are probably slightly more beneficial to us. The crucial thing is that we don't lose. Yep. And any game when the gap remains unchanged is one game closer to the end of the season; three less points that can be made up.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 A Leicester win is all we need to be concerned with
ScouseFox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Yep, as long as we take care of ourselves we're kushty. One or both will be dropping points so as long as we don't happy days are here.
dayday Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 A Leicester win is all we need to be concerned with This.
Russell sprout Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 As long as we win our games it's it rellavent whats happens in the others.
Tuna Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Play the sheep at home next Saturday. Hopefully eliminate them from the promotion race as well.
Finnaldo Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Play the sheep at home next Saturday. Hopefully eliminate them from the promotion race as well. Personally I'd like a draw from that game. It would allow us to draw 10 points clear of Burnley and 12 off Derby. That would be a great position.
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Go for a draw in that one. 2pts gain on both best result by far lol
weller54 Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 Burnley vs Derby next week, want burnley to win and put us out of reach of the sheep!!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I want a draw as well. Derby have got a bit of momentum I still think it'll be us three that go up.
weller54 Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 We beat Charlton, Burnley beat sheep, we'll be 13pts ahead of 3rd... We won't be caught!!!... I'll take 2nd place right now!!!!
Swalker Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 We beat Charlton, Burnley beat sheep, we'll be 13pts ahead of 3rd... We won't be caught!!!... I'll take 2nd place right now!!!! WHAT? Surely now 1st place is the aim now
weller54 Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 WHAT? Surely now 1st place is the aim now Sure it is!!.. But promotion is all that really matters!!!
Aus Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Draw would be ideal, but failing that would rather Burnley won then Derby. Keep a bigger gap between us and third
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Draw by far we then gain 2pts on both if we win. Plus the gap is only closed by 1pt if we don't win.
Bert Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Draw would be ideal, but failing that would rather Burnley won then Derby. Keep a bigger gap between us and thirdThis
Leicester City Gentry Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Draw or Burnley win, if someone has to win. I'll probably change my mind by next Saturday. I know one thing - it's about us winning our games. And I back the boys to keep doing that. The effort and spirit is great to see.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Draw by far we then gain 2pts on both if we win. Plus the gap is only closed by 1pt if we don't win. That's just what the doctor ordered.
fuchsntf Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Just to remind people of present status knowing no team to get the actual maximum points below. Burnley...........Derby...............QPR............Forest...............Reading..................Wigan..........City............ ..105.................103..................101...............101...................92.............................94............113....................
Rushden fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Okay I had to start this post..whoever wins is good for us. Don't you just love it when things start going our way. Draw please!!! We are going up, say we are going up.
Pegosteve Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 So long as we win don't matter what they do but draw would be ideal.
Rushden fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 There's no way forest will get anything like promotion.. Then they'll say "at least we took 4 points off the champions" enjoy leyton orient next season boys
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Sounds silly but in the general run in, I think if we win next week and Derby lose, we're up as I can't see any of the teams clawing back 4/5 wins on us. Of course the Championship isn't decided by then
