Guest Bilo Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 well all the games are 12:15, and I suspect Sky will do 2 games that day. all depends on team positions etc. QPR are at Barnsley as well, which could be significant at both ends of the table. If the division stays as it is, our game against Doncaster will feature a side already promoted as champions against a side in mid-table. I just don't see it being an attractive fixture unless we have a wobble and need something on the last day.
LanguedocFox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 It's strange that there are no City matches on Sky until Burnley at the end of March, then four out of the next five. Great for me - as long as we're winning, of course.

I can see Huddersfield away going to TV as well. I'm sorry but this isn't on; Burnley away - March 29th, 12:15 Sheff Weds home - April 4th, 19:45 Reading away - April 14th, 19:45 QPR home - April 19th, 12:15 Four ****ing weekends on the spin we're on TV. Even the top sides in the country avoid $ky four weekends running. Who'd have thought that going up will actually keep us away from $ky moving so many games eh? And to the people defending them

And to the people defending them Fair dinkum, thought Donny were further ahead of relegation than they are. It's not really defending Sky, they're a pain in the arse, more a case of realising that this kind of thing will happen when you're top of the league. There's a reason why we're being shown constantly and Watford aren't.
Munshi Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 The club have probably told Sky they want no more than 6 games televised.
Raj Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Good Job i come back from.Spain on Fri night...was shitting it being moved to Fri night. I think it was odds on this being moved. We gonna make £££â‚¬â‚¬â‚¬$$$€ from sky. W@nkers!!!!
Grey Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 dont we get some sort of refund when it gets to 6? if we are in the same position wouldnt be surprised if we are on TV against Donny. Would the Donny game count though? It wouldn't be a changed kick off time would it? Bloody hope it's not on because that would mean we have been taken to the last day, would like it all done and dusted before then.
Zapp Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 be funny if we either gain promotion or win the league against brighton now & sky miss it maybe they should televise that as well to make sure they dont
Guest MattP Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Lame Any chance of a party/pitch invasion probably well and truly killed off with an early one. Good session after yeah but would rather turn up blindo.
Dan Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 The club have probably told Sky they want no more than 6 games televised. I said at the time too much was made of that offer. Seeing as we're now one game off it, I hope Doncaster ends up on TV so it comes into play. Fair dinkum, thought Donny were further ahead of relegation than they are. There's a reason why we're being shown constantly and Watford aren't. There's some I'm fine with - Burnley and QPR are fair enough, but Reading on a Monday? That is absolutely shite. Sheff Weds at home on a Friday, why?! Tell you what, just looked at the fixture list - QPR v Forest remains a Saturday 3pm the day we're at Reading. Ridiculous.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Expected this but still not happy. Why don't they just whack every game on, Sky really annoy me but there's nothing anybody seems to do or can do about it.

I don't dispute it's irritating and fvcks up a lot of plans. Just saying I'm not surprised. Once we're up, we'll be on Sky less as they'll be too busy jerking over the Big Four.
bluesbrothers Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 For pundits that hate everything about us, Sky sure do keep inviting us back a lot. Still, any oppurtunity to wipe the smug smile off Beagrie's face when we smash 5 past his beloved 'Arry is worth the early kick-off. Touch wood, we won't have to deal with those clowns for the forseeable future after this season.
Corky Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I'm glad they've only buggered up two home games after January after last year's disgrace, early Saturday is ok, will accept that.

ScouseFox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Leeds when we all but won promotion in L1 was early on tv and that was a boss game, boss atmosphere, boss celebrations and then a boss day in the pub after supporting whoever was playing MK Dons whilst watching Jeff and the boys on Soccer Saturday. Take that again.
AndWhat? Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 9am beers it is then. Not that that's any different than if it was a 3pm kick off.......
Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Someone get a 'Beagrie is a willy puller' chant going.
Matt Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I'm in the 'keep focused, feet on the ground, not getting too ahead of myself' camp but is this a game that could potentially promotes us? Sure I read people tipping this to possibly be the game? Hope so, few pre match drinks, hopefully a win, hopefully it confirms promotion, on the pitch, and get on the piss!
Munshi Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 This has the potential to be such a massive game. Beating QPR and 'arry. Winning promotion. See the look on that twat Bartons face when he realises he's not as big as he makes out. On the pitch godknows what I'd do just run around a bit get the ball smash it in the net, do a little 'shhhh' celebration to the QPR fans Get Lloyd Dyer on my shoulders and run around Get beaten up by Was for trying to touch him And then getting the Chance to enjoy the rest of the season and trying to beat Readings points total. Or we Fvck it up and this could be a game we have to win to have a chance the automatic promotion places. I prefer the first one.
Walshy5 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Hopefully get promoted at this game and then an all day promotion party
Wakeyfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Don't mind 12:15. Prefer 5:15 "Why should I care..."
Guest Papasmurf Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Maybe we could arrange some sort of deal with Sky that in exchange for them never ever moving one of our games we wouldn't receive any extra tv revenue.
