Ozwin Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Tell you what, if that Mahrez doesn't win player of the tournament there's no justice. Three cheers for Mahrez!
Leicesterpool Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Our strike force at the end had a combined age of 73 if we're counting days too. And just for Leicesterpool: "Leicester are bringing on Gary-Taylor-Fletcher, Playing up with Super Kev, They are the boys who will stop your little game, They are the boys who will make you think again, So who do you think you are kidding Harry Redknapp! If you think that Leicester's done!" I like that
Dan Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 That was a complete massacre where we just had to wait longer than usual. They were awful and took bus parking to a completely new level today.
Unabomber Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Does anyone feel sorry for Knockaert because Mahrez is doing well?
MC Prussian Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 That was something else - in the second half. I don't know why it took us so long to get into the game. Was it too much respect, too little knowledge what to do with all the space Blackpool left us in the first half? We lacked the definite end product. Vardy and Nugent wasted a couple of good chances and the Tangerine's goal left me frustrated. The guests didn't seem to be very up for it, appeared lacklustre and disjointed. Only up to their defense, that is. Their 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 approach meant little chances approaching Gilks' box. It is the signs of a classy team when you still manage to turn a game around with half an hour to go. Mahrez' individual effort was top-notch, he might be a bit lightweight, but his skills and ball control are a joy to behold. And his touch and lob to set up Morgan was something else, as well. We've got so much strength in depth right now, it's unbelievable. I can't see a single weakness at the moment, even the "weaker" or younger players have stepped up to the plate. Schlupp, for instance, has taken the criticism to heart and plays amazingly well at left-back. We can go places with this squad and I'm looking forward to seeing the team play for three games later this month. I'm ecstatic and I hope you all are, too. The Championship title is ours to lose.
ScouseFox Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Does anyone feel sorry for Knockaert because Mahrez is doing well? haha was waiting for that to come up. had a little giggle when knockaert had a shot from 30 yards with his first touch after mahrez's goal
Unabomber Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 haha was waiting for that to come up. had a little giggle when knockaert had a shot from 30 yards with his first touch after mahrez's goal I think now is the time to sell.
ScouseFox Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 I think now is the time to sell. let them fight it out first
Leicesterpool Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 By the way was Sir Bernie present haven't seen him in ages?
Bert Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 By the way was Sir Bernie present haven't seen him in ages?Yep, starting on people in the bogs apparently
Mickey O'Neil Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Glad Phillips didn't celebrate his goal. Showed a bit of class that. Thought that myself. Also showed his class by going over to the Blackpool fans and applauding them.....individually!!!!!!
Turner1994 Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 By the way was Sir Bernie present haven't seen him in ages? He was wondering around the Local Hero shouting "Manchester Shitty!"
Kitchandro Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Does anyone feel sorry for Knockaert because Mahrez is doing well? Saw him in San Carlo tonight and said a drunken hi to him. Bet that cheered him up.
orangecity23 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Disappointed that the FLS didn't show any highlights of Vardy's disallowed offside goal in the first half. For those who were watching streams of the game - was it really offside?
Oxfordfox83 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 "Now sir, I believe you have not denied fatally stabbing this gentleman three times in the face, despite the fact he was prominently wearing the same colours as you?" "That's right officer." "Can you give me any explanation for your actions?" "Well he did boo at half time against Blackpool, even though we were vastly the better side and they were a lucky bunch of long-throw fixated b$stards." "Ah, self defence you say sir? Quite understand, there's no need to waste any more of your time. Mind how you go..."
Mark_from_USA Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Did anyone think it showed class for Nige to put in GTF and allow him to take the applause from the Blackpool fans rather than Wood? Unlike a lot of managers I wouldn't put it past him to do something like this for the player (and maybe even the away fans who have had precious little to cheer). Just a thought.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Did anyone think it showed class for Nige to put in GTF and allow him to take the applause from the Blackpool fans rather than Wood? Unlike a lot of managers I wouldn't put it past him to do something like this for the player (and maybe even the away fans who have had precious little to cheer). Just a thought.if there's one manager who wouldn't do something for sentimental reasons its our Nige. GTF was brought on as Pearson thought he'd offer something to the game. Wood looked extremely disillusioned at FT at Barnsley. It was arms in the air stuff and plenty of huffing and puffing. I like Wood, I just don't like how our style of play immediately changes when he comes on. And we don't need what seemingly looked a bad attitude.
Rocky Dennis Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Lots of boo's in G2 and lower SK1, shameful. I fear there will be lots of it next season. Tw@ts
Poakey Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Loved kasper celebrating the first two goals running over to L1,thought he was going to jump in for a minute. OH and that mahrez pass, goal weren't bad either.
Rob1742 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Today was obviously tighter than Ipswich, Charlton, Derby and Barnsley. But most of the other wins in the run have been right wins, tight margins so today fitted into the latter bracket in my opinion. The main strength I saw was that we were losing and they had parked the bus. But we still tried to find a way through, didn't get frustrated and stick to what we knew. Last season we would have got frustrated and it would not have happened. The other major positive is Knockaert and Mahrez really are tricky players, genuinely creative and on it for the full 90 minutes. These two are special. Jeff at left back I believe now has taken the shirt. Can't see him being displaced after four rock solid performances.
foxfanazer Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Good performance again from the boys. I love the fact that no matter what's happening we stay patient and try to play positive football. Mahrez and Drinkwater were unreal in particular. The goal we conceded was appalling though. 3 points closer to the promised land
Callabinho Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Lots of boo's in G2 and lower SK1, shameful. I fear there will be lots of it next season. Tw@ts Some dick head next to me was slagging Drinkwater off all game, "you're shit, **** off back to Barnsley" then, full wingspan stands there chanting "Danny Drinkwater".......tosser.
foxfanazer Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Lots of boo's in G2 and lower SK1, shameful. I fear there will be lots of it next season. Tw@ts People like that are not even worth talking about. Clearly have no idea
