Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Didn't think there was anything wrong with our performance first half, just couldn't finish! Was furious when a few absolute nobs starting booing at the half time whistle. Second half once the goal went in we were unplayable.
midland_red Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 I thought this was a very acute comment from NP "The key thing today was that the players showed a belief in how we play and trusted each other to play with our methods and we got the result we wanted"
Dr The Singh Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Didn't think there was anything wrong with our performance first half, just couldn't finish! Was furious when a few absolute nobs starting booing at the half time whistle. Second half once the goal went in we were unplayable. WTF

I heard the booing in the kop after the first half, absolute ****ing clowns.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 WTF I heard the booing in the kop after the first half, absolute ****ing clowns. Exactly, few blokes sat couple of rows behind me. Safe to say they were told to royally foooook off by others.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Very patient, very good display. Surely any boos were aimed at the garbage of a ref we had today. Overall a good display, we could easily of scored 5.
Babylon Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Exactly, few blokes sat couple of rows behind me. Safe to say they were told to royally foooook off by others.wasn't just a few either, came from quite a few places, utterly pathetic.
Unabomber Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Guy and his kid were celebrating the Blackpool goal today, and it was so fvcking annoying.
Swarles Barkley Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 To the people who booed at half time. Is it possible it was directed at the ref and not the players? No booing around me so dont kno
Unabomber Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 To the people who booed at half time. Is it possible it was directed at the ref and not the players? No booing around me so dont kno Folk could not have been booing the team considering before they scored we were playing some fantastic stuff.
Babylon Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 To the people who booed at half time. Is it possible it was directed at the ref and not the players? No booing around me so dont kno If it was aimed at the ref they chose an odd moment to do it just after the whistle went. Was 100% aimed at the team in my mind! boos happen for the officials as they walk off usually.
RowlattsFox Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Booing has turned into a natural reaction to a losing position. Ive seen people boo and then clap straight afterwards.
David. Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Heard some booing around me in the family stand too. Moronic. On a lighter note, I thought we were really good again today! Dominated once again, but obviously couldn't take our chances in the first half, despite playing some really good stuff. However, even when we go in at half-time losing, I'm still so confident that we'll come back out and win it. Great times to be a City fan.
Unabomber Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 We're seven points off Cardiff's total last year... And it's a well harder league this time, it's a shame that it is so difficult to measure how much better we are than all the teams in the league last season.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 The whole performance epitomised what is required to be promoted as champions . I have the champagne on ice, though the fat lady is not singing yet, she's definitely clearing that throat! We are going up say we are going up COYB There's only one
Leicesterpool Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Well I've got to say that was harder than we expected! Credit to Blackpool they came and for about an hour of the game they did there job in frustrating Leicester, getting a goal and keeping Vardy out of the game, you could argue that Mahrez's goal was the winner! it was a super strike that certainly gave the team confidence. Till that point i think couple of moments before i had a bad feeling we're going to lose this, we honestly couldn't get in that Blackpool box, in your mind some dark thoughts are crossing you like "OMG hope this isn't the signs of the wheels coming off" but thank god it was a false alarm! Not a pretty performance by all means but a sign of a team going up, winning despite not being the best of the performances. It was great seeing the "Dads Army" strike force up front today for about ten minutes.
LCCFox96 Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Image of the day. Ave it!!!! Looks like he has just chucked him aside. A well timed photo if ever there was one. iPad background material
The Guvnor Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Just got back from the KP. Blackpool did a job on us first half, continually roughed us up caused frustration got away with some horrendous challenges but ironically it was our players getting the cards, piss poor ref. Second half we upped the tempo and the pool couldn't cope, Riyads goal was sublime, I swear he has skinnier legs than Lloyd but what a strike! skilful player with quick feet the flip flap he carried out 2nd half a joy to watch. Onwards and upwards
Raj Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Bernie was in L1 bogs abusing everyone before the game....just thought id share that wiv you all!!!!!
Raj Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 p.s...after the game the players seemed to do a mini lap of honour!!!..lovely scenes...i can't wait for the inevitable to happen...it will be a lovely lovely moment for all involved in our beloved club.
bluesbrothers Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 Our strike force at the end had a combined age of 73 if we're counting days too. And just for Leicesterpool: "Leicester are bringing on Gary-Taylor-Fletcher, Playing up with Super Kev, They are the boys who will stop your little game, They are the boys who will make you think again, So who do you think you are kidding (insert team name here) If you think that Leicester's done!"
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 March 2014 Posted 15 March 2014 I heard one or two boo's in the family stand, i just burst out laughing. Reality check is needed for some people.
