Poznan - time to stop?

When we score I like to jump up and down to that great escape chant, I just love seein the crowd bouncing up and down and yes some are doin facing backwards, Poznan style...

I agree with the thinkin what's the big deal, I'm sure the players look at the crowd and would thrive seein how their performance and goals gets us goin... I'm sure they don't care as long as we're loud!

I'm not fussed what other teams say about us, I am interested to read what they write but after a week they will be saying the same thing about other fans... I'm more interested gettin behind the players when things aren't goin so well and showin them our gratitude, by what ever means when they score/do well!

Who honestly cares what other clubs/teams think? Celebrate however you like.

Interesting you should say that. I think that celebrations should be a bit more spontaneous and reflect the joy of the moment.

The poznan is very staged and sterile, that's why I don't like it. It's just very fake.

People do it because they like doing it. Nothing that's decided on here will alter anything.

I think our goal celebrations look far better than any I have seen on my away days.

Some clubs like the scum up the road still have Chelsea Dagger!

You are basically saying scrap the only two occasions there are atmosphere in our ground. Yeah I'm sure that will look even better on MOTD

It was deafening this season. It literally completely drowned out the home end's reaction

Fully agree with the OP.

Why? It's not my favourite thing but why is this occupying anyone's thoughts? Couldn't give a hoot what others think.

I'm sorry but if we do score first at home next year I'll be poznaning the fvcking block in more ways than one. It's a hilarious celebration dance, nothing wrong with that.

Simples. Just turn sideways instead of backwards and jump up and down facing the goal we scored in. It's unique, we will be the first to do it and it will take a while for others to start copying.

If the whole stand was doing it, it'd look decent, but the fact it's only a weird L-shaped block of people at the top of L/K that do it makes it look a bit shit. It's not really something that looks good if it's a half-arsed attempt.

That said, I'm usually not that bothered because it's directly after we've scored, so I'm too happy to care!

Really do not like it when we do the poznan. The man stood next to me today grabbed my arm and said i had to do it or i would know about it.

Novelty's died off and did so a long time ago.

Yesterday was my first sober home game in about 2 years so I noticed a lot more than normal, and I have to say that when L and K did the grecque after the second goal it looked awesome.

I do wish it wasn't a goal celebration though and we had a proper chant that we could do it too.

We love you is sung by a lot of Prem clubs anyway, Norwich seem to do it a lot, could be from us in the cup.

Poznan, I don't care as the Kop don't do it anyway, well not the middle of SK2.

The one thing we need to stop as no one in the top flight has done for over a decade is the Woooooooooooo, twat, you're shit ahhhhh.

That does make us very tin pot and lower league.

Time to stop...no. I'm all for atmosphere and that's something we lack in these new stadia. I thought we were poo yesterday until we began pushing for the 2nd goal.

I've given up caring what others think of us. If fans dislike us, they'll find something else to hate us for if we stop. The administration thing is rearing it's ugly head quite a lot this year, as is the notion that we've spent millions on players and have a massive squad.

Fvck 'em.

and you know that a large number believe this how exactly? Apart from the NIMBY old skoolers or "too cool" student lot most people seem to love it, "a large section"  don't want a drum its claimed, yet its shit without it

Agreed, I think the drum is fantastic, brings atmosphere to the ground, gets most people involved, I love it.
