Poznan - time to stop?

Surprised some of you have time to post on here given all the cringing your busy doing.

Stop worrying what other clubs think. Who cares?

Originality doesn't necessarily mean good either. The fire goal music is only used by us but not something I particularly like. Just enjoy the game folks.

Although I care what other fans think - I want to have the best fans in the country - I don't think that binning the Poznan or WLY would be a good idea. In fact, they are currently the only thing that gets 60% of the ground going at times. (Sadly.)

Mind, half of you probably don't even sit in L J or K, I think the poznans good, I watched a few videos not long ago and we look class, I think it's just fans getting paranoid, but infact I recon a lot of teams would be jealous of our atmosphere and ways of showing it, a lot better than some pit hole grounds with no atmosphere iv been too. Keep the Poznan.

I like the way some folk are complaining about how we are going to celebrate scoring next season.

Don't like to be the prophet of doom, but I'll be happy IF we score next season.

I'm still in therapy after the 0-5 v Bolton.

WHEN we get promoted - that is about as good as it will get.

Other teams won't be taking the mickey out of our goal celebrations or chants. They'll have plenty of other opportunities.

I'll go and find my happy pills now.

Great, I'm very pleased for you.

He's right you know, no need to be so petty over it. That area goes mad like all the others, and then the Poznan kicks in.

I don't care what other team's fans think, just do what you want.

If the whole ground did it then yes it would look brilliant. But only L Block and some of K Block do it.

I wouldn't say that many do it, it starts with full rows up at the top going down in a triangle shape to a couple or three right next to the netting barriers at the bottom.

Certainly not all of L block do it.

Especially as it came just a few months after Wycome and Roy effin'  Essandoh: I'm still having nightmares about that.

You're sh**t arrgh is my personal favourite, we genuinely do it better than anyone else.

I'll never forget the deafening noise lasting for ages at Peterborough last season. The result was very disappointing that day but the atmosphere was top notch.

I first saw it at Poland away 89 in Chorzow, its nothing new. It's embarrassing how long L block have been half heartedly trying it. Leave it for the likes of Celtic.

Personally I don't like the poznan, however , each to their own! Thought the atmosphere was decent yesterday apart from the twats booing.

Those who care about what other fans think should be quite happy as the clips on FLS showed a very decent crowd being loud and celebrating our goals passionately. COYB

I swear people (Fosse Boys?) tried to do the Poznan way before Man City, it just never caught on

Correct. They were laughed at.

Same with WLY.

When I said to Bilo that WLY would be quality for fans the answer was that it was Palace's thing so they weren't going to do it. ;)

Not really bothered though I don't like WLY at all. However, that song creates the best atmosphere at home games as most people join in.

This thread keeps popping up from time to time, doesn't it? Seemingly whenever the TV cameras turn their attention to fan celebrations.

At this point, I couldn't care one way or another. When enough people do it, it's great, when it's a couple of people surrounded by misers, it's crap. It's a giggle when we're coasting a game, in the same way that we used to throw Mexican Waves around like they were going out of fashion a decade-or-so ago.

I'd go as far as to say that it's more "our thing" than it ever was Man City's at this point. Don't let it bother you so much - you don't have to join in.

hahaha.. We have the same discussion on the Western Sydney Wanderers forum. Although its not looking like stopping any time soon.

The only difference, we do it at the 80th minute. every game, and the whole stadium does it. Everyone knows its going to happen so its easier to go along, like it or not.. :-)

But we are just a tin pot Aussie club.. :-)

How about this..?

personally turning your back on the game even for a second is just daft- why dont we do it facing forward - that might be original
