fox123 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26852466 That's buggered our hopes of signing Messi for next season.
goose2010 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 does mean they wont be able to sign any of our players though as well In all serious though this could screw them a little as Valdes is out of contract and says he is looking for a move at the end of the season so it will leave them with just Pinto as a recognised keeper.
Captain... Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Does that include promoting players from their B team?
Out Foxed Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 will it be enforced though. that remains to be seen.
Darkon84 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I'm sure Blatter and Platini will find a way to help out their little darlings somehow.
Strokes Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 No way will this uphold, FIFA don't have the clout/balls to see this through.
Bert Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Should've been longer for the biggest cheating wankers on the planet.
Strokes Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Should've been longer for the biggest cheating wankers on the planet. What exactly have they done? All reports seem quite vague.

Haven't they agreed a deal to sign Marc ter Stergen? I don't think this ban will be enforced retroactively. Also, Alex Song was looking to come back to the Premier League. I doubt they will let him go now.

Danizen Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 They can't let him go, the report states they can't buy or sell.Either that's a mistake or FIFA are the biggest hypocrites going. You can't trap a player at a club because of an offence the club committed. It makes it worse if you recall Sepp Blatter likening Cristiano Ronaldo to a slave when he was at Man U.

They are allowed to sell, but not buy.... "The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has been sanctioned by Fifa for the same breaches. Barcelona, who will still be allowed to sell players, are hoping to sign a new goalkeeper at the end of the season, with the long-serving Victor Valdes leaving the Nou Camp at the end of his contract."
LeicesterBran Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Barcelona will appeal and get their ban overturned. So they could get Ter Stegen and a new defender. If their ban is not overturned then t players like Dongo, Deulefou ( when he returns from his loan spell at Everton), Rafinha, Tello and Roberto could be given a chance in the team as they are seriously talented.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Barça haven't been the same since Dr Fuentes got busted.
leicsmac Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 No doubt it'll get overturned...Barca are 'more than a club' anyway, so they can't possibly do anything wrong or morally questionable. Right?
