Guest Basildon Fox Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 It isn't a necessity but Wood, Fryatt and Reid would be so one dimensional.I agree. Both can finish well and Reid on his game can put the ball on a sixpence despite being about 17 stone. Lots of goals.

Banks Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 I thought the Fryatt Howard partnership was quality for us.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 If kingfox genuinely has enough spare time to watch enough MLS, Eredivise and Portuguese top flight football as well as all four tiers of the league game in this country amongst others to form accurate opinions on nigh on every player in world football WITHOUT playing fifa or fm, who are we to call him out? Nobody knows what football I watch in my spare time. If I say right now I'd like Leicester to sign Matt Besler from Sporting Kansas, people will yet again say, but you haven't seen him play.Eurgh.
Finnegan Posted 13 July 2014 Posted 13 July 2014 Is Deek Riordan a free agent again yet? Definitely a Pearson player.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Ha, O'Connor and Riordan, the kings of bad career choices.
Finnegan Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Ha, O'Connor and Riordan, the kings of bad career choices. Haha, he actually IS a free agent again. Love it if they take him back for a third time. Hopefully he'd have the sense to stay this time. I'm sure if they get him fit he'd be useful in the Championship. Got let go by Alloa ( I know) but he was only on a six month contract and he had injury problems. Derek Riordan lol jesus... The **** you laughing at?
StanSP Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Saw this morning in an article on-line (can't remember where) that we should sign Bassong, Kris Commons and Deeney. Thoughts?

Portugal? League 1 & 2 And as I've said before, there is no point lying about things. My fifa disc is actually broke, so I haven't played it in months. Football Manager I honestly don't play that game, Championship Manager 2000 was the last managerial game I've played like that fully.

I'd sign the latter, wouldn't touch Conmons. Not that difficult to have a good record in the SPL, look at Boyd and Hooper when it comes to making the transition to the PL and Championship. Bassong would definitely improve our defence, pretty quick and he's got Premier League experience as he's played for both Spurs and Norwich.

jock2612 Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Deeney is a difficult character but think NP could sort BUT Burnley are in the chase as well Something does now need to move asap or i fear we will blow the chance all the hard work has created. Do people ITK think the problem is Robinson or the owners insisting on a very tight budget and making sure the assets are signed up so that if we are relagated we sell to make money
dannythefox Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Deeney has been in prison just the player Pearson will NOT go for!
FreeFox Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 Deeney's personality would probably be that of Beckford. No way would Pearson go for him.
katieakita Posted 16 July 2014 Posted 16 July 2014 Looking at Patrick Van Aanholt You stalking him or is it a twitter rumour?
rico Posted 16 July 2014 Posted 16 July 2014 Looking at Patrick Van Aanholt Is this post 3 seasons old?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 16 July 2014 Posted 16 July 2014 I mentioned Van Aanholt on the realistic targets thread yesterday. Wasn't overly impressed when we had him before but maybe a couple of years of extra training and development might have brought him along a bit.

Both have great pace, but are suspect in the art of defending. For me, rather than spending money on PVA, would develop Schlupp.
