dpjfox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 interesting that NP quotes in a recent article that sometimes a team needs tweeking with players who are different is have a bad boy image or an "edge, not the type of player he usually goes for but maybe a "Cardoza type" player may get 15/20 goals that would make a huge difference, i sense NP is going to spring a couple of surprises

HOWEVER I do think there would of been a good chance, (not saying definitely, but certainly a chance) that had we of been in the Premier League last year with the squad we had we could of stayed up.

If it was as easy as looking for a goal scoring striker as people think football wouldn't be the same. Look at Sturidge for example. Couldn't hit a barn door with a shot gun at man city/Chelsea now he's rated the best English striker about. Your only as good as your last game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you're only as good as your last game, then Sturridge must be terrible. He was England's worst player at the world cup and that is some achievement considering they were all terrible!
