65RosesFox Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Zsolt Laczko who then went on to play for Sampdoria Gabor Bori aka Garibaldi. One that I don't think people would've forgot but one of the strangest has to be Roberto Mancini.
Guest MattP Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Lawrie Dudfield - he ran like he had a pineapple stuck up his arse.
Kitchandro Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Bit before my time that, I think TYOF is right, David Bell. Another name, Damien Delaney, I was reminded of him in the Sentimentality thread, had to wiki to see if he had played for us, 8 times in the prem, apparently. Delaney for me as well. I knew him as an Ipswich player when someone said he'd played for us, I've no recollection of it at all.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 I remember the game, he just stood around the East Stand wing didn't he, like he had never played football before. Yep. Another one from the O'Neill era who made a few sub appearances is Danny Thomas.
PerfumePonce Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Diomansy Kamara Shout. Just read now that he scored the last goal at the 'Walkers Stadium' before it changed names.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Roman Bednar. Mentioned in the worst signings thread the other day and even now I'm not sure if it was a mistake or I dreamed it
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Roberto Manicini. We must of played over 200 players in the last decade, bet I can barely remember half of them.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Peter Gilbert? That dodgy full back from a few years ago
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 There was a Bell, that appeared on some quiz a while back, well lets just same his name didn't ring one. That would be Willie Bell, a tough tackling Scottish defender in the late sixties. Pretty good player too.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Peter Gilbert? That dodgy full back from a few years ago Wasn't that kerrea (spelling?) Gilbert?
Orange seat Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 Craig Hignett. Only goal he scored was a last min equaliser vs Arsenal
