suffolk fox Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 After watching the play off 1st leg last night how on earth did we manage to get turned over twice last season by Brighton? They are truly awful. They made Derby look like Brazil last night. Moral of the story is I suppose do not try playing football when you have drunk buckets of vodka. However, I am saddened that they managed to stuff us 4 1 on our own patch when in reality they aren't very good. Hope the rumours aren't true about Ulloah either. He is a poor mans. steve Howard.
Dan Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 They were pretty poor. Seen a lot worse but it is amazing that we let in 7 to those over 2 games. Derby had one shot on target

suffolk fox Posted 9 May 2014 Author Posted 9 May 2014 One relatively poor game doesn't make them a bad team. Even their own fans are berating their team this morning. Pass sideways, sideways, sideways no penetration in the box no end product.
4ever and ever Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 I agree Dan take away the pen and you are right. It was one shot on target including the pen
suffolk fox Posted 9 May 2014 Author Posted 9 May 2014 It was one shot on target including the pen Don't want to appear picky but a shot that rebounds off the bar is not a shot on target? The fact it hit their keeper on the back and went in goes down as an own goal.

The fact it hit their keeper on the back and went in goes down as an own goal. It's only on target if it's going in without intervention. Hitting the post and bar is off target. That shot only went in because it hit Kuszczak's back, that's the intervention and it was off target, and an own goal, as unlucky as it was.
StanSP Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 I'm sure they're not truly awful, otherwise they wouldn't have finished in the top 6. They had a bad day and they definitely haven't been that bad all season .

mozartfox Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 We lost 1-4 due to the fact Big Wes did not want Florist to make the play-offs. Plus Steve Claridge andBarry Fry had a 100 quid each on 1-4 at 66-1.

Harry - LCFC Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 They were actually rather good early on. Derby's first meaningful attack led to a penalty and it went downhill after that.
Corky Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Derby are a better team, fully committed to a vital match, than Brighton, it's not a shock they've won. Next season, should we play Brighton, I'd expect a win.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Just shows how average you can be and still make the playoffs.

Because large parts of our squad was still hungover from celebrating promotion? Shit happens. One defeat out of six in a total of 46 games is negligable.
lgfualol Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 We were pissed up http://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/soccer-news/leicester-fc-watch-players-brawling-3433507 Bloody hell I never saw this before. There's always one screaming woman on a fight video
Fox92 Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 It's football, it's why it's great. How we lost to Charlton (one of the worst teams I've seen), Doncaster and even Forest (who just kicked us all game) is more important. Brighton were impressive against us.
