fuchsntf Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 I've never liked Liverpool as a club but some 6of the comments on here are pathetic and disgraceful.agree, its not even, tongue in cheek normal banter.Too spitefull.City only deserve to stay up if they only rely on themselves, not on results of others, not all but many overrate the fixtures of our rivals, has obvious lost points, Hull for example had/have most home games.Sunderland good games to steal points. Villa +WBA, will find 4-6 pts. QPR could still reach 34-35pts if wind is fair.Burnley can only now hope for slip ups, while turning their last 4 games, into at least 9pts, and then still pray. If we can keep our form, we are safe, if we go back to the old ways,34pts is our maximum, that wont be good enough. I believe we should at least manage 37pts, that will edge it for us.Hold up Chelsea, anything is possible
nnfox Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 So a Hull team fighting for their lives against a woeful Liverpool got them 3 points but look on the bright side, their goal difference got better by +1. It would have been a lot worse if Hull had scored more.
yorkie1999 Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 We need to gain 3 points on those below us in 2 matches.
Dan Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 Crap result for us but much worse for Sunderland. And we're still only three behind Hull with an easier run in. We only have to better Sunderland's results. Beat Newcastle and QPR and we'll be okay. Win another and we'll finish above Hull and possibly Newcastle too. It's in our hands so it's all about what we do. I'm starting to seriously wonder about this now. If teams are going to play half-heartedly then it's impossible to judge who has the best run-in. Still, I think two wins will do it for us. Providing we don't lose at Sunderland.

No assumptions can be made about any games at this stage of the season. It comes down to who's up for the fight! Sunderland proved that last season.
shailen Posted 28 April 2015 Posted 28 April 2015 Let's focus on ourselves. If we win 2 games I'm certain we will survive. Let's go out there and achieve that feat rather than relying on others. It always was and still is in our own hands. We have to now perform
Sunbury Fox Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Just wish we had a mid table team away rather than Sunderland. Losing to a direct rival is really costly at this point. Really want us to be at least 4 points ahead of Sunderland before we go there.
filbertway Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 What has happened here? Hull win one game and all of a sudden every team in the bottom 6 is going to go on a mental run of winning games against top 6 sides? It's a shame that when Liverpool did eventually show some attacking intent that Hull were playing a 7 3 0 formation by that point. Hideous performance.
Devonfox1884 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 We need 7 points to make it certain IMO. Draw at Sunderland, beat Newcastle and QPR.
Ollie93 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 I said earlier on that a lot of people under estimated our run in. Liverpool didn't really have much to play for, they aren't going to catch Man U in 4th. We wouldn't be complaining if they came to us and played like that. Our run in is as hard as anyone else's as we are playing teams fighting for survival too.
Haydos Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 To be fair to Balotelli, he was sticking with his man which 99% of the time after corner / those crossing situations, you don't try and play the offside rule. Everyone needs to be on the same page, and Liverpool are just not a side on the same page. That being said, he's a terrible person and footballer who Brenny should never have signed, and should never play. Did you not see Lovren screaming and waving at him?
David Guiza Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Morgan Schneiderlin out for the rest of the season, could make some sort of a difference towards their game vs Sunderland this weekend, and us the following. Massive player for them. Think JayRod is back in training too, but doubt he'll play until maybe the final game.

Danizen Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 City's U13 squad. Guy in the back row looks 25, at least!!
Finn Claw II Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 We could beat Newcastle and QPR and lose to Sunderland and Southampton and Sunderland ould still need 2 further wins to pull ahead of us. All of the bottom 6 are in deep trouble unless they start to pull wins out if the bag
ScouseFox Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 City's U13 squad. Guy in the back row looks 25, at least!! think he's a coach mate

sylofox Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 think he's a coach mate Why would the coach be wearing full kit and be in the middle at the back. He is just a huge kid for his age. You would expect the coahes to be stood either end as they are.

Dan Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Don't know if I like Rodgers or not. Think there's definitely something there but it's hard to really take away the fact this season's been a bit of a disaster. Absolutely millions squandered (standard) to go backwards. Think it's pretty clear that Suarez was a far bigger reason for their title bid rather than Rodgers. If they could get Klopp I think it'd have to be worth a look.

He's huge, the other kids just bounce off him
