4everfox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Not sure this is the right thread for this and it hardly merits its own thread but... Midlands table 2014/15 1. Stoke 2. West Brom 3. LEICESTER 4. Aston Villa 5. Wolves 6. Derby 7. Birmingham 8. Forest 9. Chesterfield 10. Peterborough 11. Walsall 12. Coventry 13. Port Vale 14. Notts County 15. Burton 16. Shrewsbury 17. Northampton 18. Cambridge 19. Mansfield 20. Lincoln 21. Telford 22. Nuneaton We should be looking to top this table next season in my opinion.

You never know though!

It just shows how far Nigel has taken us, when we were in League One we must have been mid table and now look at us. Nice to see Coventry sandwiched between the massive Walsall and the formidable Port Vale though
4everfox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 You missed out Shrewsbury and I don't think Peterborough are midlanders. I was pretty convinced Peterborough were in the midlands, Shrewsbury aren't a midlands club are they? I may have to alter it which would mean Coventry gain a place in the table...on second thoughts Peterborough stays

4everfox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Well put it this way Shrewsbury are covered on BBC Midlands today. I've added them, what are Hereford doing these days? They must be a midlands club too.
The Doctor Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 I've added them, what are Hereford doing these days? They must be a midlands club too. Didn't they go bust? Lino got both decisions spot on there for the hull disallowed goals.
Stevosevic Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Any Hull players worth poaching? Chester and I think Nige will want him again as well
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 If West ham went down would be so funny going into new ground!
The Doctor Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Wilsheres goal was stunning. Nice sentiment from the Chelsea players carrying Drogba off.

MC Prussian Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Also, what a way of spoiling Gerrard's departure to the US. But Rodgers was the maker of his own disaster - not nominating a proper striker in the starting eleven cost him dearly. I mean, it had a Spain 2012 touch to it. 4-6-0, but then what? Lallana acting like a spoilt brat, constantly complaining to the referee. Skrtel with a few defensive shockers (Walters' goal being a prime example).

But stoke will start the season on no pts like us. They may only get 44/45pts next season. Nothing stopping us topping that next season but yes a 54pt target may be a little way beyond us atm.
Dan Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 We'd do very well to come above Stoke. They're a solid and established side at this level. We can better West Brom though.

Headed it straight back to him. Was the perfect knockdown.
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Rodgers saying to the owners 'if you want me to go I'll go' sounded like a plea to sack him. Can't see him surviving, and definitely not if Klopp expressed an interest.
Webbo Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 If Rodgers stays they'll do well to be top half next season.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 I reckon Klopp would go if the touted him up. Young squad, plenty of energy and legs that has the potential to improve? They'd be mad to keep Rodgers imo
Callabinho Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 Has anyone seen Chelsea's open top bus parade video? Diego Costa is throwing celery at the fans. What the ****ing hell is wrong with that bloke haha......
