ealingfox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 You have to hand it to McCarthy really, there's not a single good player in that Ipswich squad yet they're still up there and have been most of the season.
StanSP Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 You have to hand it to McCarthy really, there's not a single good player in that Ipswich squad yet they're still up there and have been most of the season. Majority have either come through the ranks or have been bought on frees. So their squad value is very low, too.
ealingfox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Not having to endure the annual thrashing in LE2 is probably going to end up being their highlight of the season.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Not a red, Shame they'll probably go on and win now.
marko Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Not a red, Shame they'll probably go on and win now. What?! That was red card 8 days a week. He was clean through but for being hacked down.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 What?! That was red card 8 days a week. He was clean through but for being hacked down. He kicked it straight to the Watford defender?
cjslcfc Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Never a red. Watch the touch. Poor touch from the attacker to the right which is actually easily cleared by the defender.
Fox92 Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 If that's us and the opposition player fouls one of our attackers in that position I'd want him sent off.
Matt Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 I don't know the rules of football anymore - mainly thanks to indecision of refereeing. I have to make my own decision I guess but i've seen alot worse than that not given, let alone penalty/red card given, the way the game is nowadays I don't know what's a penalty and what isn't. He was going for the ball, yes he didn't get it, it looked late, but I think it's his momentum that takes him sliding forward into the Derby player that's not excusing him but i'm not sure the Derby player was getting the ball either so it's not exactly stopping a goalscoring opportunity.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 If there's any potential a defender could get there then it shouldn't be a red.
GingerrrFox Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 It wasn't a definite goal scoring opportunity as the touch was so heavy and went straight to Cathcart. Penalty clearly but never a red card.
Unabomber Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Even though it has ****ed by bet and it was Derby I can see why the ref sent him off.
Jaspa Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 HYAK HYAK HYAK More poor defending. Arent these two supposed to be amongst the best in the League?
VinceNoir Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Only way they're going up is if they fluke it in the playoffs like qpr last year. Of all the top teams I reckon bournemouth have the best chance. They looked good today and have got a decent run in
Guest ttfn Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 The team in 8th has as many points as we had when we finished 6th in 2012/13
Guest ttfn Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 Somebody is going to get 75-78 points and not make the play-offs. Mental.
