Jimothy Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 I like the summary at the top where it says Sami Hyppia managed Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League Hyypia also has management experience in Bundesliga Really?!? I thought maybe he managed Leverkusen in the Champions League, whilst they had a full time manager who did the league games.

Current betting/wild speculation has it at Veldwijk and Fyratt. Although other random names plucked out of the air include Samaras and Callum Wilson.
Dan Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 If you're still chucking money around then I have literally no idea how FFP works.
Babylon Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 If you're still chucking money around then I have literally no idea how FFP works. It's easy, you just don't pay your suppliers like Forest. Fryatt has signed, decent championship player... Although they seem to think Suarez has just signed the way they are going on!!
Corky Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 Pleased, he was guaranteed to score against us for Hull next season.
ealingfox Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 Not even sure I can comprehend how funny its going to be if Pearce flops.
AKCJ Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 Not even sure I can comprehend how funny its going to be when Pearce flops. Corrected.
Brooksy Posted 9 June 2014 Posted 9 June 2014 I give it till November and he'll walk out to make way for king billy.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Wednesday takeover announced with the usual Mandaric soundbites.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Good luck to them I say; be nice to see them challenging. I know this Azerbaijani chap owns Lens and got them out of Ligue 2 but I hope he appreciates that the Championship is a different kettle of fish altogether, looks a very, very tough league next season. So pleased we're out of it.
EcclesallOwl Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Milan Mandaric - Sheffield Wednesday Legend Excited with this new owner, wants his a team representing his brand in the Premier League as soon as he can and will do what is required apparently We can only hope!
ealingfox Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Milan Mandaric - Sheffield Wednesday Legend Excited with this new owner, wants his a team representing his brand in the Premier League as soon as he can and will do what is required apparently We can only hope! Are there owners that don't want their teams to be in the Premier League?
EcclesallOwl Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Are there owners that don't want their teams to be in the Premier League? True The doing what is required part is not something all owners do though, like Milan himself.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Milan Mandaric - Sheffield Wednesday Legend Please don't.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 His statement earlier reminded me just how far we've come without him, the bloke is permanently stuck on repeat and has been for years. Read through it and count how many times he blows his own trumpet the dodgy old malty ****er. Can't stand him, unfortunately it seems he's brainwashed nearly all Wednesdayites into the "trust me / I saved you from going bust" hype he generates. Unfortunate because a club like Wednesday shouldn't pander to some minty tinman. "True football man" - Copyright Milan Mandaric, 2001-The Day We All Perish.

Corky Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 Trivia time. We were the last Premier League opposition for both Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday.
marko Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 Sounds familiar. What are you feelings on Fridge Flogger Fawaz, Red?
RedHux Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 I quite like him. He seems as clueless as the fans which is quite endearing. Also, when you look around at some owners involved in football, he by no means the worst we could have ended up with. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
