Corky Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Well hopefully but something's bound to go wrong - like Deeney leaving. Is the manager popular within the club? Seems like a character but does he have enough influence to get you challenging?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 I'll be amazed if nobody snaps Deeney up after the couple of seasons he's had.
Soar Fox Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 I'll be amazed if nobody snaps Deeney up after the couple of seasons he's had. I wouldn't actually mind if we signed him. Strong, can hold the ball up and he's a good finisher.
Super_horns Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 Is the manager popular within the club? Seems like a character but does he have enough influence to get you challenging? Well I think he earns respect and is very vocal/strong in what he wants. The fans are mixed on him - some say he is a bit defensive compared to Zola but we needed to be more solid at the back.
Stadt Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 I wouldn't actually mind if we signed him. Strong, can hold the ball up and he's a good finisher. I don't think Pearson would be keen considering his chequered past.
FrankieADZ Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 i see Paddy Kenny has enjoyed the summer.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2674345/Paddy-Kenny-reports-Leeds-pre-season-training-enjoyed-summer-break-little-much.html
foxfanazer Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Bournemouth receive 25% of whatever Liverpool have paid Southampton for Lallana. Should get around 6 or 7 million I'd imagine
kingcarr21 Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Leeds have told there players they need to bring in there own lunches to training and wash there own kits in order to cut costs. A Professional football club with a decent size stadium and fan base and they cant even feed there own players. Im going to put a bet on Leeds to get relegated next season. Can only see that club going one way. FrankieADZ: Cant believe the size of Paddy Kenny. He's apparantely been shoved with the reserves along with other high earners in order to get rid of them. what an absolute mess.

I like Bournemouth and Howe. First job will be to replace Lewis Grabban who was superb for them last season

I bet Paddy's eaten everything from their kitchen which is why it's been shut. Can't be cheap on Persil for his wash load either - bet it's like cleaning a yacht's sails.
lgfualol Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 Good job we dont make our players bring in their own lunches. Not sure the manager will be happy when Gary turns up with a lorryload every day.
MC Prussian Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 FC Basel left-back Kay Voser has joined Fulham. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/july/02/voser-joins-fulham

Tincy Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Aaron Cresswel off to West Ham, shame really as would of liked us to be in for him

goose2010 Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 11m for McCormack?? crazy crazy money for championship to championship.
J.Lisemore Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 And yet Leicester City will still be known as the big spenders. Fulham buy a championship striker for 11million and it'll probably be considered a good signing by most neutrals.
ScouseFox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Makes McCormack the 8th most expensive British striker ever
Guest MattP Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 I don't even know what to say anymore. Loic Remy avaliable for 8million. Ross McCormack for 11m.
surrifox Posted 8 July 2014 Posted 8 July 2014 Fulham heading for oblivion if they are spending like this - it's completely buggered the market - Ulloa - ker-ching
