BoneDog Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Are these real? I flipping hope not. The only one I'd like to see is the climate change option. Maybe the education one too, but not sure how much is already spent.
johnny the fox Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Conspiriacy therory.. A lot of these small anti EU parties that have been standing because they have been set up by the big parties to splinter off UKIP votes. looks like it happened in southampton .
lgfualol Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 I think about 6 are fact. I hate UKip but I really doubt even they would campaign to make it legal to rape or assault your wife, I mean what the ****. They have some absolute nutters as MPs so it wouldnt surprise me if a few wanted it. They seriously need to work on their policies. I dont get why defence needs increasing, it's not like we're being invaded by armies every day.

Guest Kopfkino Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Are these real? Not sure how people can know, maybe that was included in the 2010 manifesto but tbf that manifesto will be nothing like their next one, Farage isn't stupid. Maybe UKIP members/candidates have said those things but that doesn't really mean much. At the moment UKIP have two policies, cut immigration and leave the EU, the rest isn really know bar the obvious.Also most of them are to do with EU regulation which inevitably would be lost upon leaving
Strokes Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Are these real? I like the last one, you can't be frivolous when it comes to defence.

If we manage to pull off a miracle and get out of the stinking EU we'll need all the defence we can muster. Edit: regarding the 'rape or assault your wife' pledge, I think that would be the downfall of any party nowadays being as we men started allowing the women to vote out of the kindness of our hearts

lgfualol Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 If we manage to pull off a miracle and get out of the stinking EU we'll need all the defense we can muster. Is this because we wont get any help from the EU countries when we decide to invade places? Or? Because Iceland and Switzerland are doing a-ok.
LJS Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 As good a night this has been for Eurosceptic parties across Europe it's a massive exaggeration to talk about anything 'bursting at the seams'. The anti-EU parties are still a very small minority in the European Parliament and this is likely to be their high water mark give that all available economic data suggests that economic growth will be present across the continent by the time we vote in these elections in 2019. This vote hasn't been about Europe, largely. All polling data puts Europe well down the list of what voters care about and most recent polls have UK voters in favour of staying in. It's about money. It's always about money. Which is why (along with Miliband being retarded) the Tories will win the GE next year. My basic assessment tonight. UKIP: Excellent. But the local election results were more significant for them. They allow them to build a base at home but they badly need to develop sound policies and credible people if we're to even be talking about them in 2020. Tories: Not good, but to be expected. Cameron will sleep easily. Labour: Absolutely ****ing atrocious. They're probably going to squeak second but that really isn't good enough. Miliband must go. Lib Dems: Very bad but probably as expected and even slightly better than some expected.

lgfualol Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Time for bed, come on igfualol, nighty night. Don't be patronising. I just want to know what bonedog meant, I'm honestly not going any further than that.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Good results coming in so far, this country needs a shake up, the current lot are awful
Mark_w Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Don't be patronising. I just want to know what bonedog meant, I'm honestly not going any further than that. Sounds disgusting.
Merging Cultures Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Here's my UK predictions, so that I can look an idiot in the morning (% of national vote & number of seats, with 2009 results on left and my prediction on right in each case): UKIP 16.5%-> 28% / 13 -> 24 seats Con 28% -> 22% / 26 -> 19 seats Lab 16% -> 26% / 13 -> 19 seats Lib Dems 14% -> 7% / 11 -> 1 seat Greens 8.5% -> 7% / 2 -> 3 seats SNP 2% -> 2.5% / 2 -> 3 seats Plaid 1% -> 1% / 1 -> 1 seat N.Ireland: 1 DUP, 1 SF, 1 UUP, as before You were nearly bang on with this. UKIP 27% Cons 24% Lab 25%
Captain... Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Conclusions from me, the majority of the people that voted still think the eu is relevant, despite massive UKIP gains, most people didn't vote for them, then most people didn't even bother voting, despite all the publicity about UKIP and a chance to sock it to Brussels. Which makes me think that an eu referendum would result in an 'in' vote. UKIP will fade at the generals and should a referendum be held in 2017 and the people vote for 'in' then. I predict this will be as good as it gets for UKIP. As for the big losers of last night/the last four years, Clegg needs to either fall on his sword take all the blame himself and give the party a chance to recover, or a splinter party will form taking the remaining loyal lib dems and rallying their previous support, they have a year before complete obscurity. Clegg fvcked it up for a shot at power, hope it was worth it.
Webbo Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Not too bad for the Tories,Labour should really be doing better. Gives me hope that the Tories will still be the biggest party after the election.
Phube Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 I think about 6 are fact. I hate UKip but I really doubt even they would campaign to make it legal to rape or assault your wife, I mean what the ****. Scarily, it was only made illegal in 1991!
stevelcfc Posted 26 May 2014 Posted 26 May 2014 Over 60% didn't vote, so its your fault the inbred racist dummies had their voices heard. Well that and the BBC's love of giving them all the air time earning them supporters.

I think we will stay in, especially if we still have Scotland hanging on to our coattails.
