Happy Fox Posted 28 May 2014 Author Posted 28 May 2014 Brings up the question: when are we officially a Premier League team? Is it when the fixtures are announced? According to this article the 4th June http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2013-14/may/qpr-promoted-to-barclays-premier-league-after-play-off-final-win.html Queens Park Rangers join the champions of the Championship, Leicester City, and Burnley in getting promoted to the Barclays Premier League. They will formally become members of the Premier League at the shareholders' meeting on 4 June. One of the founding members of the Premier League, 2014/15 will be QPR’s seventh in the competition.
Fox92 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 the best website ever! it consolidates all the websites with the keyword 'leicester city' in It is good but it's just a shame those keywords are linked with sources and information I wouldn't trust, from unofficial sites to The Sun.
Babylon Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Shame Hull and QPR bring the tone of the league down a bit... scummers.
stevelcfc Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 If the table finishes like that I'm happy! Although, I'd probably believe the Ginger Jose hype.
Ric Flair Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Still furious QPR have been promoted. It's spoilt it for me a bit.
Out Foxed Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 applause in the 8th minute beating the joke into the ground
Fox Ulike Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Can't believe we are already five places below Burnley. I knew it would all turn sour.
sylofox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Season over please I'd take that finsh right now lol And spurs going down Yessssss get in lol
Houdini Logic Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 What odds would you get for the league to finish like that? It has to be in the millions??
docho66 Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 IMO it's only official when the fixtures are announced. I can't wait! Plus, by the 18th of June we will probably be out of the World Cup so will need a little bit of excitement.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Still furious QPR have been promoted. It's spoilt it for me a bit. How very sad for you. Is it because 'Arry got the job done? Me, I'm chuffed for the geezer How very sad for you. Is it because 'Arry got the job done? Me? I'm chuffed for the geezer.
Collymore Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 What odds would you get for the league to finish like that? It has to be in the millions?? Good question. Even if all of those outcomes were evens ( a flick of a coin 50/50 chance) the odds would be a about a million/1. Basically it's a million to 1 chance to call 20 coin throws in a row. Coincidentally looking at that table Arsenal winning it and West Ham finishing bottom wouldn't be the most absurd call but still would be around 100/1 bet (remember with the evens rule calling only 2 would be 3/1) Now a double bet that Man City finish 10th and Spurs 18th and relegated would probably be a 50,000/1 double on it's own. Add Burnley finishing 3rd and you're on a multi-million odds bet from a treble before you've even touched the other 17 places. I would hazard a guess that odds of that table happening would be more than millions, billions and even trillions to one. In fact you'd probably get better odds on the Earth being hit by an devastating asteroid at 2 pm on opening fixture day so the table stands and you just hope your bookie is still about to payout. The above bit isn't a joke - it would be more likely.
TrentFox Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Talking of news, just seen Steve Kember interviewed on news at ten. Hasn't changed a bit !! Great to see him looking fit and healthy.
David Lowe Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 How has Dyche got Burnley into the top 3 with so few pound notes? Amazing job.
