theessexfox Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 Squash is a great sport - only play against mates so probably a crap standard but find it fun and tiring in a good sense.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 Squash? Pffft! Is that some snide joke directed at the fact I put, "I'm overweight"?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 Football, cricket, and rugby. Played for West Kent schoolboys in all three, and also Maidenhead United at football, and later rugby for Marlow, and cricket for Henley. Rugby was the most enjoyable of the three, to play.
Rincewind Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 Squash? Pffft! Is that some snide joke directed at the fact I put, "I'm overweight"? Thought you had to be fit to play squash, I was expecting something like tiddlywinks and got netball. TBh even though I was rubbish at all the sport at our school (running gym, field football) I could just about manage basketball. If I stood at the right distance I could score a basket but I had to remain within sight of it. No running.
purpleronnie Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 I was hoping for golf as I like the clothes. But I got:- Table tennis Badminton Netball
Rincewind Posted 24 July 2014 Posted 24 July 2014 I think I could accept golf. I can see me riding on a buggy hole to hole and I would be an expert at number 19.

FoxyPV Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Do you get tax credits or a benefit payment if you can't swim? That's the govt's new cost cutting method - swimming tests for all, preferable if no previous swimming lessons.Gets rid of the undesirables.
Rincewind Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 That's the govt's new cost cutting method - swimming tests for all, preferable if no previous swimming lessons. Gets rid of the undesirables. Good idea. I can think of at least two that would be the first on the list and if they tried to cheat by swimming I would have their legs tied together but that's a whole new can of worms.

DB11 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Table tennis, apparently. Which is wrong because I played it once and I couldn't hit a damn thing.. even when it was my turn to serve
filbertway Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Table tennis for me, my only professional game was against a German lad at the hotel we were staying at when I went on holiday about 12 years ago. I let the country, my parents and myself down by getting absolutely annihilated. If only it was you Scouse, GB may have come out of it with their head held high.
