Corky Posted 25 November 2014 Posted 25 November 2014 Oliver Holt @OllieHolt22 27 Jul 2011 Aguero will be highest profile signing of summer so far if it happens. Still think Charlie Adam to Liverpool could be best though
VLC86 Posted 25 November 2014 Posted 25 November 2014 If we could sign any player from the prem it would have to be Winston Reid- Underated.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 25 November 2014 Posted 25 November 2014 It would seem if Bayern beat CSKA then Man City need a draw or win to go through, but it must be a score draw... if Bayern draw to CSKA then Man City must beat Roma, if Bayern lose then Man City are out...
BlueSi13 Posted 25 November 2014 Posted 25 November 2014 Schalke 0 - 5 Chelsea Manchester City 3 - 2 Bayern Munich The Bundesliga is ****ing shite!!
Dan Posted 25 November 2014 Posted 25 November 2014 Bayern v Chelsea would be very interesting I think.

StanSP Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 How bad is that City group? Whoever goes through really doesn't deserve it. Why? Technically they've done enough to get through. It's like saying that any team who finishes 17th and avoids relegation doesn't deserve to even though they've been rubbish all season. May be the case but they've done enough over the season to stay up - be it via conceding less goals, getting that extra point somewhere, scoring more etc...
MC Prussian Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 Still have to laugh at that shambolic performance by Schalke yesterday - that own goal in particular was pure comedy gold, never seen anything like it before.
RonnieTodger Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 2 of the worst Champions League goals I've ever seen.
bovril Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 Just got back from the Ludo Liverpool game. I can hardly type from frostbite. Great match but let's just say neither side are going to win the Champions League.
ScouseFox Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 He'll be gone by Christmas. would be amazed if he's not sacked after they draw/lose to basel and are out the CL
ScouseFox Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 tbf the result isn't a disaster, they'll still probably beat basel and qualify in second like they were always going to. just a pretty uninspiring performance/result/month or so.

Grandad. Posted 27 November 2014 Posted 27 November 2014 We have been a shadow of the side we were, Rodgers has become far too stubborn. To continue to play Gerrard and Johnson is worrying, Mignolet shouldn't be playing but that is simply because there is no other goal keeper. His in game management is just as worrying, to not bring Coutinho or Lallana on last night for Gerrard and Lambert was baffling to say the least, invited Ludogorets on to us and to defend deeply, seeing as we can't pissing defend is laughable. I'm not going to start calling for his head, I do think Brendan Rodgers is the man to lead us but he really needs to sort himself out and stop being loyal to players and hoping they can just turn their terrible form around. Gerrard needs to be used sparingly now, just like Mourinho did with Lampard and Ferguson did with Scholes, Gerrard doesn't have to start EVERY game now for Liverpool. He should be starting 1 in 3 if that, coming on to see a game out with 20 to go. I also think Rodgers would benefit from Gerrard on the sideline, none of Rodgers, Pascoe or Mike Marsh have the greatest amount of top level experience, Gerrard would be a good voice from the sideline in Rodgers ear. Just like Carragher was in his last season. Anyway, last night.. Wasn't a great performance but put to end our losing run, nobody stood out apart from Sterling and again maybe Toure, the only man who actually defends for us. Destiny is in our own hands, beat Basle and we are through. Should make Anfield one of them nights a week on Tuesday. I'll be in the away end this coming Tuesday so if any of you want to throw coins at me then I'll give you a wave.
