Carlos88LCFC Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 For those getting their knickers in a twist, we were strongly linked with Albrighton, Ulloa and Upson for weeks before they signed, that is just the way of it, these things take time relax, things were clearly at an early stage on Saturday otherwise Nigel wouldn't have been so annoyed at it being leaked, if there wasn't a chance we could lose out on him. I think the problem is a lot of people come on here giving it the big "I HAVE INFO" and in turns out to be bollocks. With about 5 people yesterday saying that it's a done deal and they were all sounding reliable (bar the m8 fb) some with a history of getting things right it got me excited! To hear today it's "ongoing" is annoying. Why would people pretend to be ITK just for it to fall out of bed the day after? ... My worry is if it is still "ongoing" other clubs will come in with bigger packets for him and we lose out. Any one else I wouldn't mind... But we are talking about a champions league winner and one of the greatest CMs in my era in Cambiasso!

I've always felt he's a talented lad that could work a bit harder and throw his weight around more, that's the thing. I'm always cynical when players say they want to fight for their place. Many players have said that when actually they just don't want to take a paycut.

It could be that Cambiasso had is medical, signed on the dotted line, but then had to fly back to Italy to sort some things out there, before flying back here later in the week. When this is announced, they are going to want Cambiasso to be there.

You're being cynical saying that. Player wants to leave = Taking easy way out/Won't fight for his place/No loyalty Player wants to stay = Doesn't want to take a pay cut/lazy
