FFS I suspect there's been a batton down the hatches approach regarding what info on this since the leak last week that could have scuppered the deal. The silence today is slightly unerving as there's always a chance it could break down for whatever reason, which would be a massive blow for us. Hopefully it's a case of the deal is all but agreed and this lull is because the medical hasn't been done yet due to Cambiasso not yet being in England. There's been a lot of stuff spouted from people supposedly in the know but you get the feeling nobody really knows what's happening other than a very select few. I reckon we'll hear something tomorrow at the latest.

I thought at some point today I would see a slap head (not Konchesky) holding a Leicester shirt and signed up! But the silence regarding this is killing me! I have literally had the full day off work refreshing this page! I personally think now Pearson had our pants down and told all the reasonable sources that our "ITKs" get details from "tell everyone it's a done deal" "having a medical".... 100%LCFC made a big shout for a new page growing a fan base that this is a done deal to all of their followers. Kinda made them look a tad silly!

I dunno about whether we would know now or not. They don't tend to announce these things straight away. I'm still pretty confident and silence isn't necessarily the worst thing. As far as we are aware we've been talking to him and our team are pretty confident of getting him. He may or may not have had a medical but I see that as a minor thing. The main thing is the deal, I'm confident he would pass the medical. We shall see though

Never trust a site that reports things without linking to the source material. Several times I have seen something in a paper, that they then repeat without mentioning where it came from. Makes them no better than people like First4lcfc or Indy Bloody Kaila.

Would be nice to know the reasons behind the delay if they are actually genuine. Quite funny that none of them have posted today so far.
Robin JD Popley Posted 12 August 2014 Posted 12 August 2014 Just saw what Tanner said and, yes you could take it as face value, or, you could read between the lines with what Nigel said the other day and assume the press are getting very little on this from now on in case of any potential hijack from certain other managers. All we can do is wait and see but I still have faith this will be resolved sooner rather than later.
