Aww sad, out of all the days I must've missed out on yet another classic thread development.

Was it superhorns by any chance?

I said at the weekend that the club were looking else where and not go back in for Deeney..... Seems I was wrong

Bid approved today. Will be sent to Watford tomorrow. Club expect Watford to accept. Personal terms not experted to be a problem

I hear your a reliable source!

Good to hear! Would prefer him to that Silmani fella. Think we lack a Troy Deeney in our squad.

Seriously why? Apart from THAT goal i have no idea what type of striker he is like??

Still boggles the mind why Pearson would want to bring this knob into our club.

Why is he a "knob"? He's a good striker, probably why Pearson wants him.

I'm just confused as to why we'd want another target man type striker, but as always, I'll trust whatever Nige does.

Cheers for the info

So the bid isn't dependent on Wood going as has been mentioned?

2012/13 - 19 goals in the league

2013/14 - 24 goals in the league

Powerful striker. Goals in him. A real handful.

Strong on the ball, quite greedy, not afraid of having a shot, good touch and good close control with the ball at his feet... If he misses the ball he turns around and hits it and scores... He scores for fun in the lower league

He's a complete forward. Has the attributes of all of our strikers put together just none of them are stand out like vardys energy and pace, ulloas ariel threat and nugents.... Penalty taking?

But if we do get him I can see him being the main man with either of the others playing along side him.

Cheers Qwerty, so when you say bid approved you mean the club are making a new bid tomorrow but not yet been accepted by Watford?

Wood may be offered as part of the deal. Also still in negotiations with Wolves.

Could you imagine the meltdown if there's a picture of Knockaert and Deeney celebrating together?

Tony's Twitter will be bombarded.

He is not Marlon King.

Well because he tried to kick a lads head in while they were down on the ground. The man is a thuggish ****, and I'd hate to see him in a city shirt.

I'd like to know if they actually provoked him first.
