StanSP Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 https://twitter.com/OfficialFOXES/status/503164799908597761/photo/1 Starting squad.
Steven Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 #lcfc: Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan ©, Moore, Konchesky, Mahrez, King, Hammond, Schlupp, Ulloa, Nugent #CheLei Subs: Hamer, Albrighton, Hopper, Taylor-Fletcher, Knockaert, Wasilewski, Wood #CheLei
elangLCFC Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 strange to see Schlupp over Knocky and Albrighton, assume it's because there's knocks to one or both and Pearson wants us to break with pace they don't have?
BigWesMorgan Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Obviously putting Schlupp left midfield to help Konch out. Thought NP would have gone with 5 at the back to be honest.
cc_star Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 No surprise that Knockaert is dropped to bench Apart from that finish Schlupp looked a threat when he came off the bench Formation/tactics will be most interesting
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Would have put Albrighton in if we were dropping knocky but hey Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stadt Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN (I hate that chant) Subs?
cc_star Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 strange to see Schlupp over Knocky and Albrighton, assume it's because there's knocks to one or both and Pearson wants us to break with pace they don't have? Albrighton is returning from injury As for Knockaert - Did you see him last week? Could be a greater threat off the bench when opponents aren't as fresh
Fox42 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Gutted for Vardy he wasn't able to make the 18. He deserved to feature at SB after what he did for us last year
Shipman Out Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I'm not suprised to see Shlupp cos Chelsea will dominate possession so will need pace on the break and cover in front of konch when we havnt
veezeeblue Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 vardy - obviously too risky to play him, injury might worsen ? if so good call we will need him so much this season
Larry_LCFC Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Surprised Vardy isn't even on the bench when he has been training fully. He should be there ahead of GTF all week long. Not feeling at all confident
KFS Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 If we get anything from this it'll be miraculous. Somehow I think we will.
Callabinho Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 I've started crying now, just so nothing shocks me....
BigWesMorgan Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Good to see Vardy has travelled with the squad
KFS Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Soccer Saturday being complimentary. Just waiting for Merse to open his mouth though.
RobHawk Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Nobody really expects us to get anything from this game so if we do it's a bonus. Don't understand some of the comments on here questioning the ability of some of our players. They showed last week they are capable and even with a fully fit squad we'd be struggling to get anything from today! Let's get behind the boys and enjoy it!
StanSP Posted 23 August 2014 Author Posted 23 August 2014 Soccer Saturday being complimentary. Just waiting for Merse to open his mouth though. Knowing him he'll think Vydra is playing and not Vardy. Totally missing that Vardy isn't even in the squad anyway.
weller54 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Why risk Vardy in this match!!!.. No point, this ISN'T a game we're going to get anything from.. Just a decent performance and damage limitation to our confidence will do today... Please please Chelsea don't score anymore than 3!!!!....
Walshy5 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 That side would be a second string even last year!
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Anything in this game would be amazing, hopefully we don't let in too many and create some decent chances to keep confidence high.
