Bilo Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 We'll need the pace against Palace, can see his trickery causing them problems.
DennisNedry Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Wouldn't start Mahrez on Saturday. After international duty early in the season, Mahrez came straight back in against Stoke and looked very jaded and was ineffectual. Would rather play Albrighton personally. Fox92 Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Jason Bourne 15minutes ago On Thursday NP said Mahrez "will be coming straight back into it and hopefully picking up from where he left off" once he was done at #AFCON

That was a Wednesday international match. Came back Friday morning. He was bound to be tired. I'm not sure when Algeria duty ends but he'll have a bit more time to prepare for Saturday I'd imagine. After international duty early in the season, Mahrez came straight back in against Stoke and looked very jaded and was ineffectual. Would rather play Albrighton personally. That was affer playing on a Wednesday and travelling back to play on a Saturday. Mahrez has plenty of time to recover before Saturday

Would rather play Albrighton personally. that time round riyad played for algeria on the thursday and we had a game on saturday. he's finished international duty 4 days earlier this time, there's no way he shouldn't be ready to go by saturday. we all said the same thing :riyadnice:
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Thank god, in time for palace as well. will hopefully give the squad a lift when he strolls in in his Nike high tops.
Narborough_fox Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 After reading that Chronicle story Riyad should be back with us by Wednesday. He'll probably be given that day off to help recover after the flight but I'd think that he'll be back training on Thursday. Huge boost for us ahead of Palace. fuchsntf Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 I dont believe he should start, and I dont believe its a toss up between Mahrez-Albrighton-Vardy-or Schlupp. I do believe Albrighton should start, but not necessary in place of....... Clever Fox Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 We dont train Wednesdays, he'll be back in and fresh on Thursday That's why we look very slow compared to other teams. I really think some of our lads are not fit enough.

I blame Wellens Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Won't play against palace. Pearson the 'tactical' genious will play Konch on the right wing.
Clever Fox Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Poor Albrighton Not really, we should be playing one on each wing. Then we might get behind teams instead of playing in front and trying to get through the middle.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 1 February 2015 Share Posted 1 February 2015 Albrighton and Mahrez should both be starting. Yes, Schlupp has improved, but Albrighton just has that touch of class about him.
