indierich06 Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Even if he could feature, which is a big if, would you want him to? Imagine he'd be restricted to the bench at most, but more likely he'd be rested.
Bert Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Just save him for Palace at home. He'll be tired and could do more good than bad.
HEGGSY Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Just save him for Palace at home. He'll be tired and could do more good than bad.In which case, get him on!
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Se what happens tonight. If he's back for United I'd stick him on the bench if we're chasing the game, he'd be alright for half an hour, if not save him for Palace. I think they're likely to qualify so will be a moot point if they do.
shailen Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Mahrez is a bit of a strange one for me. He has been one of our best players individually, but sometimes I think he makes the team weaker. His decision making at times, if improved, we could be talking about 3/4 more goals. But then having said that he creates those chances by himself at times, so is it fair to criticize. Albrighton is a more conventional winger, who will provide the service, but then he lacks the creativity of Mahrez. I wouldn't know what to do with him.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 With Schlupp being the next Gareth Bale I don't think we'll need him. Nice one.

Imagine he'd be restricted to the bench at most, but more likely he'd be rested. Of course, why not? He's a professional athlete who has at least two clear days to recover from a maximum of 90mins exertion having not played much at all for a couple of weeks. He should be in top shape come Saturday.

I think with Kramaric we could be talking more goals. Most of Mahrez's through balls end up wasted as they go to Nuge or Vardy. Especially that ball to Nugent vs Chelsea and Schlupp vs Everton
kingcarr21 Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Just save him for Palace at home. He'll be tired and could do more good than bad. Oh Bert
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 He's tired is he?! He played 60 minutes of their first game, 20 minutes of their second and I don't know how much of their friendly against Tunisia before it started. Let's say he plays 90 minutes tonight he'll still have only played a maximum of 260 minutes in the four weeks that he's been away. Meanwhile we've had four matches (Newcastle, Villa, Stoke and Spurs) ourselves yet I don't see anyone claiming that someone like Simpson who has played three of those four matches (270 minutes) or Morgan who has played in them all (360 minutes) need a break. The flight is fairly long but not so long that he shouldn't be over it by Saturday. Mahrez is our best player by far and if he is available then he should be involved in some capacity. I don't think he'll start as he'll have missed all of the tactical prep etc. but there's no harm with half an hour from the bench.
Torten Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 With Schlupp being the next Gareth Bale I don't think we'll need him. Fack off
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Just scored. Ahh beat me to it. Can't see them not qualifying now
RedSoxUK Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 What a goal! Amazing off the ball movement, and good finish.
Foxybeaver Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Celebrated like he scored for Leicester. Always good to see our internationals doing well
Harry - LCFC Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Just means he'll take longer to come home. I'd be right behind if this competition took place at the right time but as it is I'm quite disappointed that he's winning.

Could really do with having him back though
Dan Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Mixed feelings again. Hope he bags a hat-trick in a 4-3 loss.
8starstriker8 Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 If Algeria can win the tournament that will give him a boost for the rest of the season so I think it's good if they do well.
