Well worth a decent investment, I've unfortunately just lost him to Barcelona where the board forced the sale, he was 88 at 24 years young. Yes you have mentioned him..

I needed to win the last game of the season to win Div 1, got clean through twice and Morata hits it wide. Then, I roll the ball across goal in the last minute, my player runs onto it 2 yards out and hits the past. I draw 2-2. Then next season I get relegated. I don't think so somehow. Its when the ball just breaks for the opposition/you every single time from a deflection or tackle, it shows it most. Unranked/offline matches seem to mostly eradicate this.

HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Hi Guys, I know there is a thread for FIFA 15 but I can never get any responses on there. It may be that I rant a lot on there about the scripting and how frustrating it is but I also ask questions I really need help with and never get any responses. So as I get relegated again back to division 5 simply as I couldn't get shots away for about the five or so games I have a few questions that I am hoping are not due to scripting but to tactic settings...hopefully. I find myself often having to run across the pitch often yelling at the other players to make runs instead of standing still but even though I set them to 'Get in Behind' they just stand there marked. Is there another setting somewhere where they will constantly be trying to make a through run? When taking a goal kick I find the majority of time, even when using the radar, wherever I kick it their players will get to it first and it just comes straight back to me. Is there a way where my guys will actually put in a challenge for it when it is a 50/50 ball and is there a way where I can at least get it to one of my players everytime. Even rolling it out is risky as they will have a player lurking around and my keeper will react very slowly to my commands. When defending, I notice that a lot of my players will just watch as their man runs past them and not even get back in position. I can try to select and control this player but by the time the computer has allowed me to have that player it is too late and I need a different one and then the same happens and so they just walk through my team. Is there a way to set it so they will constantly challenge and not give up. Also so they will not go too far out of position? I find De Laet the worst for this. I do use the 'Team Mate Contain' button but to not much success. This leads me to the selecting players part. Is it just too difficult to program it so it does give you the sensible player to control when they are attacking. I don't know about programming so maybe this is very hard to do but generally I want to select the closest player, who is goal side, has the chance to actually get to their attacker and is not running in the opposite direction. Is this possible to do? Finally tackling. I have played football games since I was little and you used to have to just try and get in front of the player and press the tackle button. Now I know there is no longer a tackle button but I use the same tactic with the pressure button and so often they just waltz past me like I am not there. I find myself often yelling at the players to just put a foot in as they watch the attacker go by. Is there a better way of doing this? If I could get some help it would me really appreciated as it is so so annoying. One thing I would ask though is if you know a way of doing these things without having to remember a million buttons to be pressed please go for the simple way. I liked it best when football games had a pass button, shoot button, tackle button and through ball button. I can grasp the use of the button to make it chip and also the button to make it more controlled but I can't get my head around jockeying as I also find that when I try this they just pace past me. I am thinking I may have to hang up my FIFA boots soon and get myself a copy of Kick Off 2.

Why so often do you push in a direction and press pass for a very simple pass and yet the player will decide to pass to someone completely different and it generally will get intercepted. Is this something that can also be fixed by player instructions or something like that?
