Samilktray Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Career mode is the only thing I play unless I'm round a friends playing it. They haven't improved career mode for about 10 years now.
GLC Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 So you're one of the dicks inflating the market to abuse your earliesty start and price out noobs that don't have the time to do the same? Nice. Hardly, when players are out of packs they become rarer so the price is increased. If you want to buy a Milner or Reid, you can do it easily, it doesn't take long to make 10-15K on fifa. All I'm doing is buying a few of the players and when they're out of packs (and the price has increased) I sell them on.

If you can afford to buy 7-10 of the same inform player and make a £1m coins already then you must live on Fifa bro.
LCFC FOX Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Career mode is bollocks, how can anyone enjoy the unrealistic transfers? Much prefer playing online on FIFA. FM is the game you want for a career mode

lgfualol Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 I wonder if one day they will put more effort into Career than anything else. Just imagine the possibilities.
kingfox Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Didn't really like the demo, but have really got into this after buying it, started a career mode with MK Dons can't stop drawing though.
RonnieTodger Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Started off drawing 2-2 with Everton and losing 3-1 to Chelsea. Ulloa has been a beast!
lgfualol Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Played a pro clubs game, there was one guy who tried to dribble everyone all the time. Ended up with 4 of us chasing him and tackling him. Nice to see pro clubs hasnt changed.
Danno Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 I like the co-op seasons, although the defending is absolutely attrocious.
HEGGSY Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 I wonder if one day they will put more effort into Career than anything else. Just imagine the possibilities. They don't make money off the career mode mate and unfortunately, that's all that matters to EA
Tom's Pasta Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Is it just me or is it always 5 mins of stoppage time, even after the first half
stripeyfox Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 So you're one of the dicks inflating the market to abuse your early start and price out noobs that don't have the time to do the same? Nice. I've never really got into FUT. When I first saw it (in whichever version it was) I thought - wow, that's a good idea - build your own club sort of thing and I was happy to start at the bottom but my first game was supposedly a "matched" game but they had a team full of superstars. So I end up thinking "what it the point?" So have things changed? For someone like me who can play a few games a week max - is it ever going to be worth it?
lgfualol Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 I think I have a career bug. I got Crystal Palace in the cup before playing crystal palace, announced to play Burnley in the cup after Burnley and now Sunderland before Sunderland. Either that or a coinky dinky

I like fut, to be honest, I find it quite addictive and more rewarding than picking a real team. Lots of stuff I dislike about it, the kids obsessing over pace and skill moves being a big one. If you take the time to learn to defend well though then it's good fun. In previous versions I played a lot of silver tournaments and single games so I only really got matched against other 3* teams. Currently, playing the leagues, however, I'm getting 5* gold teams against my silver 3* every time at the moment. Not sure if that's because almost nobody is using silver teams or if the match making doesn't work like that in the league. Hope it changes, though. I know Ashley says the teams get balanced and I know a player with a good silver side can beat a player with a gold side if he's better but you still get dicked on by everyone with Balotelli, Bale, etc. Mixed experience so far.
ToeKneeHandCock Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Anyone else experiencing a ridiculous amount of penalties being given?
DB11 Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 Anyone else experiencing a ridiculous amount of penalties being given? For complete bull sh*t as well! I don't even make an attempt of a tackle, player makes a shot and falls over and penalty!
ToeKneeHandCock Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 For complete bull sh*t as well! I don't even make an attempt of a tackle, player makes a shot and falls over and penalty! Yep. I had one yesterday where my keeper caught the ball from a corner and a striker ran into him after he'd caught it, fell over and penalty awarded.
lgfualol Posted 30 September 2014 Posted 30 September 2014 I got a red card on pro clubs because I got sandwiched by two other players and they fell over. It was unreal.

I only really started playing it since Fifa 13, never usually bothered with it as my first experience of UT was that if I didn't plough money into the team I was getting nowhere. Now its actually really good... I perhaps spend about 80% of my time just in the markets and buying/selling players to build a team. Never really buy packs as I prefer to play Offline and slowly build a team.

I have no desire to get thrashed by some 14 year old who has 10 Messi's in the team and calls my mum a slag for the entire match! (which was pretty much my previous experience of FUT)
